Reviews
The bathroom is well-equipped with all the essentials: shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, hand soap, body lotion (the water can be quite drying), and a hairdryer. Fresh white towels, toilet paper, and paper tissues are provided. The room also has a safe and a minibar (extra charge).
The staff are friendly. Housekeeping is done daily unless you hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign. Breakfast is buffet-style, with plenty of options to suit different tastes—vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and more—so no one will leave hungry.
I definitely recommend this hotel!
Bring a sleep mask to block out the very bright thermostat display.
We decided to book a little getaway with my husband for the weekend.
We booked Deluxe Double Room with a bathtub. They even asked if we want to specify anything during the booking and I highlighted that the bathtub is A MUST in the room as this was the only reason why we've chosen this hotel (we live in an apartment not far from the hotel and we only have a shower at home).
When we checked in and got the keys to the room,it turned out that there is no bath! Even the shower is with such a short curtain that it floods all the floor so you can't get in the toilet without getting your feet wet. They have nothing to mop the water or anything like that🥵
When we saw that there is no bathtub,we went immediately down to the reception and asked for help.
I showed the receptionist the pictures from their website where this room exactly is shown with the beautiful big tub!
He was very friendly, but he kept saying that he is quite new here and he needs to phone somebody to figure it out.
Aparently, there were no rooms available in the hotel at that moment and he couldn't cancel our booking with a refund.
I insisted on doing something so he came up with an idea to give us two 100sek vouchers for the discount at their restaurant. The vouchers were valid only during our stay, which was February 15-16 (Saturday and Sunday). At first we agreed even though the room cost around 1500 sek and this discount was nothing. But we decided not to ruin our mood and the whole weekend.
But when we went down to have dinner, it turned out that the restaurant IS CLOSED on Saturdays and Sundays! So their "excuse" was just a spit in our faces!
We had to go look for some takeaway to have dinner at the hotel room. Luckily, there are some restaurants in the neighbourhood.
By the way, that shower appeared to be mouldy and the doors to the bathroom were squeaky and not closing properly.
Also, the TV remote didn't work properly as the batteries were low and when I went down to ask for new ones, there was noone at the reception.
If you are still reading and this is your only possible option to stay,I must say that the room was really warm and the bed is quite comfy. The breakfast was also good. But this is definitely not worth the price they ask for it. Especially if you are hoping to change your cosy home shower for a good bath.
Anyway,I think this room was getting prepared for someone with special needs judging by the toilet and the shower chair. Which was taken from us after 10 minutes in the room😆because someone else needed it.
Oh,and the bathroom is very cold as well. The windows are so old that you will feel all the winds of Scandinavia on your backside when changing or using the toilet.
This hotel is a bit far away from the city centre, however, there is a metro station very close to it (around 700m).
Good service, comfortable bed and mattress, and the bathroom is very modern.
As for breakfast, there was an interesting selection of items available.
Completely recommended if you want a smooth experience as well as saving some money in Stockholm.
