It’s not a hotel. It’s an experience. The couple who manage the property are exceptionally kind. It’s impressive how everything is done with care — they are truly present and attentive. It makes all the difference. Incredible. Truly beyond words. My room — WOW. A private sauna, a bathtub, a walk-in closet. Everything was beautiful, fragrant, and spacious. Despite the bad weather, I loved skiing in Samnaun. On a sunny day, the border with Austria is spectacular. The return slope to the hotel is a blue run. The hotel is ski-in, and there’s a shuttle van to the gondola. If not, the bus literally stops right in front of the hotel. Perfect logistics. Dinner was excellent as well — small portions, light and well balanced. Breakfast does not offer a huge variety, but in my opinion it is thoughtfully selected, and the eggs are prepared fresh to order. I will definitely return one day. Greetings from Brazil.

What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in one of the "alpine historic" rooms, which was a lovely combination of rustic/historic and modern comfort. Everything in the hotel is beautifully designed, with lots of individual touches chosen by the owner (e.g. special plates, cutlery, and decoration on the tables), and the room was absolutely spotless. Beds are very comfortable, and at night it's totally quiet. The hosts are extraordinary - they always take the time to chat with their guests and to accommodate individual wishes. They make you feel like a friend or family member, rather than simply a guest. All the other staff (waitress, cleaning staff) were always very friendly too. We stayed a whole week, and dinner was absolutely exceptional, every single day. It always starts with a different type of delicious home-baked bread, fresh from the oven, with a matching dip or special kind of butter, and it just keeps getting better and better. If there's something on the menu you don't like, just let them know and they will find an alternative option for you. We went skiing most days. The ski lifts are only a short drive away, and there's a regular shuttle service in the mornings that takes you directly to the lifts. In the afternoon you can ski back to the hotel (max 3 minutes walking after the end of the slope), this is possible even in December when there is not that much snow on the slopes. It may not be the cheapest hotel, but value for money is very fair. Highly recommended, would love to return!

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed at many hotels around the world - I can highly recommend the Laret and we will be returning there for future trips! The owners manage and work at the hotel which shows their personal commitment to excellence in all aspects of service. The food was wonderful each day with a combination of cooking styles using local ingredients. One feels at home from the very first day. The rooms are newly upgraded to reflect the local Swiss character and all comforts. The wine list is wonderful and we did not have a bottle we did not like. For us skiers, located near the Samnaun main lift with a ski slope back to the hotel at the end of the ski day. Beautiful hotel with great service!

Laret boutique hotel Dec 31 2022 -Jan 6th 2023 What an amazing experience from start to finish, they are an absolutely gentile amazing family who treats you as one of their own. The hotel was 5 star in everything. Located at the top of the dreamiest little village in Samnaun, and about a 5,7 minute drive to a super nice town filled with shopping and cozy places to hang out at and of course to ski. If you are looking for an absolutely amazing winter wonderland vacation Laret Private Boutique Hotel is a definite yes! 5 star: Service Dining Stay Cleanliness The food was out of this world every night you have a beautiful 5 course meal. Served by 5 star service! Starting with different freshly baked bread every night with a side of butter and a fresh spread & ending with a lovely dessert! For vegetarians like me, Christian designed a separate amazing vegetarian 5 course meal. The food was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I both miss the breakfast & dinners very much. This family really makes you feel at home in their gorgeous hotel. Cornelia & daughter Connie we’re so gentile and sweet. We enjoyed their service and suggestions. They had the warmest smiles every morning and night! My boyfriend and I are very family oriented, so this hotel was absolutely perfect for us. It was beautiful to see the whole family including the two sons who don’t actually work there pitching in for New Years holiday. New Year’s Eve unfortunately my boyfriend was sick due to the altitude and driving from Milan Italy, Son Nick had helped me park the car immediately upon arrival and helped me with our bags straight to the room. They were so patient with us coming down for dinner and wanted to do anything to help my boyfriend feel better. After our NYE *7 course* meal they had a lovely fire waiting for us, freshly made hot wine & ANOTHER dessert for the ball drop. The entire hotel and staff sung happy birthday to me which was so sweet I wanted to cry. If your birthday is on a holiday, you know your birthday doesn’t feel like it’s your birthday because the holiday. This is one of the first birthdays I actually felt like instead of New Years it was my birthday! Our holiday was spent absolutely perfect! There is not one thing I would want to change. We stayed in the HISTORIC WELLNESS SUITE And wow the coziest most gorgeous room I’ve ever stayed in. My boyfriend and I travel the world and both agree this was one for the books! Never forget our stay at Laret Boutique Hotel it was that special! We thank the Metz-Jenal Family with all of our hearts for the incredible experience! We will most definitely return!

Gem in the middle of a beautiful valley! Incredible views, the owners are wonderful and the meals are exactly what you need after a long day out doing activities! Fyi 5 stars! Deservingly so...

Great location, walking distance from the nicest run down from ischgl/Samnaun ski area. Incredibly friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful and shared facilities are very nice. Shuttle to the gondola in the morning has been very convenient. Would gladly stay again.
