Little luxury hotel hidden away on the east end of Switzerland. Spectacular views all around. There is ski slope right beside the hotel for those who love to ski Service is good Multiple restaurants in the hotel. The food was really tasty. Breakfast, tea time & fiber was provided. Upgraded us to a suite. Lucky us. The interior of the room itself is beautiful & comfortable. Need more nights there...

We have not been to the hotel for many years and the first time, since it is rebuild to a 5 star hotel. It was very nice also before, but now it is just perfect. Rooms (we had the Turmsuite, it was the best room for us since long time), hospitality, cleanness, food quality, service, welllness, etc.... everything just perfect.

Everything is excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was always first-class. All the facilities are excellent.

Very clean and high quality hotel, staff is very friendly. Food is quite good, we mostly dined at La Miranda. I'd say that half board is worth it. Free e-bikes are great. That's said, staff is quite unprofessional and doesn't fit the "Luxury hotel" description. Multiple cases that something was forgotten (water ordered to the room, car parked) or mistaken (wrong order at breakfast multiple times)...

A perfect place for both summer and winter holidays. We’ve been here for several days in mid September 2021, the weather was great, we even managed to see the snow. During summer season the cable cars are free of usage if you stay in this hotel

The staff are perfect. We arrived at 11:30 am while the check-in is at 3:00 pm. The staff told us: give us 20 minutes and then the room is ready. We sat in the sun in front of the hotel where suddenly a staff member offered free cakes, coffee and tea while waiting; very pleasant surprise! We had also booked breakfast. Lots of space, friendly and welcoming. As also close to the Lift system. 2 minutes by ski.

Comfortable and well appointed hotel. Ski in and out via the ski piste right behind the hotel. Ski lockers for each room are a great thing I wish more hotels would adopt. The staff is very friendly and helpful and you can get anything you need from them. I skipped the expensive, in my opinion, breakfast and walked to the shell station for breakfast each day. We found the hotel during the afternoon and checked in a couple of hours later. Great service at the reception and heat restaurant on the hotel as well. Breakfast had a good variety of things, so lots to choose from.

We only spent one night here, but we were very satisfied. The hotel is very nice, clean, the price per night is very reasonable considering the location. Parking is free. This place is absolutely magical, once you get down from the top of Samnaun, this is where you come down to and then just walk to catch the free shuttle that gets you to the Tram.

Clean room with comfortable bed and very friendly owner, who spreads a good mood in the morning. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and there is something for everyone. The freshly prepared scrambled eggs with bacon were particularly delicious. Dinner was also excellent. Flexible and attentive staff, short waiting times. We liked it!

Super nice manager. Top food from breakfast to dessert after dinner, everything is brilliant and very tasty. The room is clean and perfect to stay even in bad weather. High quality kitchen, perfectly located for skiing

We have had a very nice dinner at Hotel Astoria. The atmosphere was calm, the food superb. The main waiter (and owner I think) gave us options outside the menu. Highly recommended.

For years we have been enjoying the hospitality of the Jenal family and team, the wellness area and the rich breakfast buffet. At this point, thank you very much and you are always welcome.

I've stayed here several times for work and have always been very satisfied! The booking process is straightforward, the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The owners are always friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast leaves little to be desired – especially when enjoyed with a view of the surrounding mountains.

Unfortunately, no dinner was available; we just managed to get a seat at the restaurant next door. Better to have lunch on the slopes and a self-organized snack in the evening in the lounge. We'd come back here again because everything was perfect.

Great and super kind owners. Thank you for the hospitality. Stayed 2 days and skied. Spa area, great breakfast, bus service between Ski Lift and resort, but is actually only 10min walk max. Good location. The furnitures are a bit outdated but they are good condition and beds were super comfortable. Parking free. We are coming back thanks!

The owner is very nice. He even prepared breakfast at 7: 00am earlier than normal time 7: 30 am because I want to leave earlier. They clean the room every day and provide free transportation from and to ski place, also drop off and pick up us in the rent shop.

We visited Samnaun again two weeks ago at the Hotel Romantica, with the Carnot family. Once again everything was great, a big thank you to the family and employees. We spent four nights here. Clean rooms, quiet location, and a generous breakfast. Although on the edge of the village, you can quickly reach the ski slopes, also easily accessible by ski bus. Definitely recommended.

I stayed for two days in mid-January in a beautifully renovated single room and was very well looked after. Very friendly welcome. Lovely breakfast, excellent spa facilities. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is spotless, has excellent beds, wonderfully soft towels, and the rooms are well insulated. There's a delicious and extensive breakfast, and the ski bus stops right in front of the hotel (three times an hour in the morning - less frequent in the evening, but you can ski back). We'd never seen such a beautiful starry sky on the ceiling! Samnaun is a charming village...

It’s not a hotel. It’s an experience. The couple who manage the property are exceptionally kind. It’s impressive how everything is done with care — they are truly present and attentive. What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in one of the "alpine historic" rooms, which was a lovely combination of rustic/historic and modern comfort. Everything in the hotel is beautifully designed, with lots of individual touches chosen by the owner (e.g. special plates, cutlery, and decoration on the tables), and the room was absolutely spotless. Everything was perfect! We were booking for a 4 night with extremely late arrival and they accept it without any problem. Due to weather, our flight was canceled and we arrived only the day aftee and for our surprise they didn't charge us for the night we miss. I would definitely return to this hotel. God bless them.
