Ngorongoro, Conservation Area 🧭 Map
Undeniably the best vacation experience ever. Incredible in every way. We actually were there Christmas of 2023/New Year's 2024. Masaii warriers! Our butler was "Alex" The lodge and rooms beautiful, service impeccable. Rose petals bath a surprising touch! My husband was ill and full meals were brought to the room. Don't know why it took me so long to write a review. I'd go back in a heartbeat and I...
From the moment we were picked up from the airport the 4 of us were in awe - of the beauty of the landscape, the animals everywhere, the weather, but mostly the people. We felt so welcome and truly thought everyone was going out of their way to make our 3 night stay an experience we would never forget. Daniel was frequently checking in on us with a smile on his face, Upendo went above and beyond to...
Ngorogoro Crater Lodge is an unparalleled safari experience. Jemma, JJ, Marcel, Erick, Alex and team make you feel like family and introduce you to a world you thought only could exist in your wildest dreams. We celebrated Christmas at the lodge with an extended family of 13. We never felt rushed or like strangers. The Maasai warriors who greeted, protected, and celebrated their culture with us are...
African palace in the bush . Truly outstanding place to stay . Service is exceptional . Food is like having fine dining in the middle of nowhere . Rooms are beyond 5 star standard . Game drives in Ngorongoro crate is still at its best . The experience must be as part of your bucket list
Absolutely unbelievable! Do not stay just one night here. We stayed at 6 beautiful lodges and hotels throughout our luxury stay in Tanzania and nothing compared to our stay here! The attention to detail and level of service is unparalleled. Our butter George was perfection.
I just spent 3 nights at this &beyond lodge. Was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail is next level and the lodge itself is very unique. Upon arrival you are greeted by song and smiles. All of the staff seem genuinely happy for you to be there. Our butler Msisi was a wonderful, friendly attentive person. Our private guide was TEMU. He was I believe as good as...

We went to 3 different safaris and we saw amazing things. When staying at the monetary we got a full tour of the bakery, animals and gardens. The sisters were very kind and helpful, they even made us rice pancakes because we are gluten free, even though they were not on the original breakfast menu. It was a fabulous experience, I would highly recommend it for any families or groups of friends looking...

It was my second time at the monastery and the experience was still amazing. The location itself is unbeatable: 3min from the Ngorongoro park entrance. The place is so peaceful. I appreciated the kindness of the sisters, the lovely gardens and the cleanness of the rooms. We had 2 great nights of sleep. And the food was delicious! Thank you to sister Noelia for the warm welcome, to Johnson for organizing...

Pretty good breakfast. Rooms were comfy. Loved the outdoor patios accompanied with our rooms. Home outside of the rooms.
A beautiful lodge with absolutely outstanding service, exceptional food, and spacious, well-designed rooms. We had a truly wonderful time here – unfortunately far too short. Everything was perfect from start to finish, we would come back in a heartbeat!
Our stay at Acacia Farm Lodge was a wonderful surprise. What we expected to be a standard room turned out to be a private, gated residence with 3 bedrooms, a private swimming pool, and dedicated butler and chef service. The accommodation was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The food prepared by the private chef was outstanding and plentiful, and the service throughout was excellent. There...
A heavenly retreat after safari. Beautiful grounds, awesome room and fantastic friendly service including nightly turn down service with nets around the bed. Lovely pool with attentive service. Great proximity to ngorongoro
We stayed here for 2 nights while we concluded our safari with a visit to the Ngogongoro Crater. This Lodge was a delight and totally unexpected. It is of the highest quality with lovely rooms and grounds. The staff were very friendly and willing and the food was excellent. We were very comfortable here and could easily have spent much longer in this lap of luxury.
My wife and I came for our honeymoon.
With the help of Frank as our butler, the experience was truly magical. The housekeeping staff and Frank were on another level of customer service; it was fantastic. I highly recommend anyone to go there and ask for Frank as well as for Frank’s Maasai activity which was try informative. A must stay in Tanzania. Best accommodation we had during our honeymoon.

We stayed at the Retreat for one night and it was simply amazing. The food was delicious, all the stuff very nice, service outstanding and the place wonderful. It is a very quiet place with a beautiful garden and we even had the chance to get a fire in the evening in our room, we enjoyed very much! We can highly recommend it and wished, we could have stayed longer!
We stayed here for one night after our safari, and it was such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made us feel truly taken care of. The food was excellent! The Lodge itself was very clean and well-maintained, and our room was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You can tell they put...
Excellent place to go to especially after a safari drive. Could not fault anything at this place. Spent 2 relaxing nights. Dinning room staff especially Sarah looked after us. The chef went out of his way to accommodate our diet needs . It’s a must visit if you are in Karatu. The grounds and garden is a must stroll.
An absolutely beautiful place close to Lake Manyara. A great place to rejuvenate in the middle of a Safari. Great people and beautiful accommodations. Highly recommend!
Our stay at The Retreat at Ngorongoro was truly unforgettable. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning grounds that make you feel immersed in nature while still offering comfort and elegance. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more relaxing. What truly set this place apart was the staff, they were beyond amazing. Asante sana
We had a lovely stay at the Enyazi Lodge. It was close to both national parks (lake Manyara and Ngorogoro). The rooms were big and very clean. Hot running was always available. The biggest plus are the exceptionally friendly and charming staff and the fantastic meals! Thank you :)
Charming lodge. We were on honeymoon and they had details on everything possible. Big room, swimming pool, good cooking, well connected between Ngorongoro and Manyara. I would strongly recommend it! :D
Is cool place to be no noises at all
It's close to Ngorongoro and Manyara national parks. Has nice views, rooms are so much bigger and very nice. It can be hard to get to since Google doesn't seem to take you to the right place but if you ask the locals, they will give you directions.

Beautiful lodges, comfy beds, amazing staff! Pool and views looked incredible
We stayed here 2 nights during our safari and the staff we so welcoming, the food was lovely and everything was so clean. We stayed up late whilst having a drink and Danny the barman was the best. Will definitely stay here again
We spent part of our honeymoon at this lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely food, service and accommodation! We enjoyed the games they had available on the tables to spend some time relaxing and playing after our busy day out on safari. They’ve just had a gorgeous pool renovation with fire pit and it is incredible. Thank you.
A very lovely hotel in a beautiful setting! The staff were all sooo friendly and helpful, it was wonderful. The kitchen did a brilliant job and it was always with a smile, so nice in this rushed world of ours! A special thanks to Danny our waiter who gave me the recipe for the amazing naan bread they make there
It’s the dry cold season in Tanzania, and this high altitude partial tent was a concern for me. The friendly helpful staff did everything to keep us warm and I had a wonderful experience. After checking in, we headed to the bar and warmed up with a Simora Special, its hot chocolate with Amarula (an African liqueur). Created by their bartender: Simora. You must try one. It’s the perfect warming touch...
