Not a bad place to stay on a budget. Rooms could do with a bit of tlc.

Great stay!
Location is very convenient to great wats and Lana Square nightlife
I had a private room. It was clean, then linens and towels were soft and good quality.
There were hooks on the wall for clothes and towels which makes everything so easy.
Shared fridge in the common room. The common room locks later in the evening so just be aware of that if you have the outside access private room.
The host, June, is fantastic. She will help you book anything and get you a great price. I recommend talking with her before booking tours online.
I wanted to stay much longer but she was fully booked.

The hotel has an owner and one staff member who communicate frequently but sometimes mix things up. For instance, upon our arrival, we paid for the room and laundry service, but later, the staff informed us via a translation app that they had lost our laundry and requested additional payment due to a 'miscount.' Despite our initial confusion, we provided the extra payment. However, the owner later requested even more money, which was frustrating. Additionally, we booked the VIP slow boat tour based on a flyer provided by the staff, with the promise of food and a guide. However, during the tour in Laos, we discovered that we were actually booked for the standard tour at a significantly higher price than if we had booked it ourselves in the city.

We booked a room, it was confirmed, and because we arrived later than 6pm and we didn't confirm the arrival time, they gave the room to somebody else.
When we arrived to the hostel with our bags, after a long day, we found out that we had to find another place.

The hostel is a bit old, but the room was clean and the host was friendly.
However, there was noise from nearby bars at night, so if you are sensitive to sound, you might want to bring earplugs.
The room lights were really dim, so it was difficult to read or write at night. The only outlet was by the door, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the room was very well-ventilated, so it got a bit cold at night.
I suggest the host changing the light shades, adding an extension cord and provide an extra blanket

Clean rooms and bathroom, great location, friendly host. A great place if you do not plan to spend time in the room, and you need the place just to sleep. The price is very pleased. You also can buy water and rent a scooter there.

Really, it was a blessing to find this place! The rates are unbeatable, June is so welcoming, friendly and helpful and her family is so sweet ♥️! The place is super clean, comfy and quiet. I felt like at Home and will definitely be back! Thanks again June and all the best to you and your Family!

There is no better place to stay when you are visiting Chiang Mai, than Just Chill Inn. Sure, you can spend more, but why? The owner is fluent in English, Thai and Chinese, and she has lived her whole live in Chiang Mai, so she is also a wealth of information on places to go and things to do. And she has the best prices! You can't go wrong at this lovely property! Tell them Elena sent you!
