Chiang Mai Province, Mae Ai, 84 Moo 3 Thaton Soi 7 Tha Ton 🧭 Map
The resort has seen better days. The Rooms are extremely dated. The bedding was clean and the shower worked as it should.
Its cheap and the owner is friendly and soeaks english .
Food was good.
Its just another very tired thai resort. Not one for the instagram crowd, but it was an experience just the same .
At half the price of other accommodations in the area set your expectations accordingly. The staff were friendly, the bed sheets themselves were clean and reasonably comfortable. Wifi was good in our room. The fridge and Aircon both worked well and you can rent a bike from here too. However there were negatives. The pillows were mouldy and had no pillow cases, thankfully there were spares in the other...
Great place to stay one night! Standard from old school Thailand! Hotel owners are nice and helpful! Very nice family with 3 generations! Grandma with white hair very elegant as she was expecting the queen. Time capsule experience but don’t expect international standards and be ready to travel!
For the price of 320 Baht okay. It really seems like the resort had its best time already. There was a discrepancy between the style, the resort being built, and the maintenance of the whole area.
I got a big room in the very end corner of the resort, close to the swimming pool, which has no water inside. The room is divided into a living area and a bed area, divided with a wall of bamboo mats. The...
Nice stay in Thaton. Rooms are big with comfortable beds.
We had a very nice breakfast done by the owner.
Good value for money.
There is no public boat so we've decided to hitchhike (renting private boat was too much for us, and we didnt meet any more travellers to share cost of private boat). Owner of Areeya told us we'll never get to Chiang Rai by hitchhike and he was fortunately very wrong!
Thai...
Firstly we paid £9/€9/$9 for a room to sleep while we travelled north. Clearly they have had a bad time over the last 3 years and when we arrived they were renovating the front room.
The pool is unusable so don't think you are going to have a dip but the room was large and clean, the bed soft and very clean sheets, the shower was hot and the fan worked.
We left something in our room by mistake but...

We had 3 beautiful nights in this lovely place. The room - with a beautiful balcony - was lovely, clean and spacious. The staff were delightful. We did a fun cookery course with the delightful Aree and taking what we learned back to the UK. Great place to relax and chill out!
This is a beautiful hotel along the western Thai border, in a stunning setting along the Maekok River with mountains off in the distance. We arrived here just after a cycling accident knocked my husband off his bike for a few days. The owners and staff could not have been kinder or more helpful as he rested and began to heal in our lovely garden bungalow with A/C. It was perfectly appointed with lovely...
Excellent resort situated in a beautiful garden. We booked a well equipped and maintained bungalow, furnished in style. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they all spoke English very well. If we visit the area again we know where to stay
I wouldn’t think this were just a 2-star. Lovely grounds, good staff, fine breakfast with the fluffiest omelette I’ve ever eaten. Peaceful environment clean rooms and truly lovely decor and design throughout the property. Fresh plants everywhere and you can tell someone has a professional design eye.
We fancied a trip to north Thailand after visiting Bangkok, and before travelling to the south of the country. So apart from the obvious Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, we were recommended this place by a friend. It was amazing! The resort has beautiful grounds and the accommodation, rustic and very clean. The people who worked here were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. There are small local...
Staying at Maekok River was fantastic. Wonderful service, delicious food, clean and beautifully presented rooms with gorgeous flowers and plants throughout. The pool was a haven for relaxing and massages are done in your room for extra comfort! There are many activities available including hiking, markets, temples, river trips and cooking classes. The surround is stunning and the husband and wife owners...

Room is big and clean, Breakfast no good, No facilities and no Restaurant
Third time I have stayed here. Excellent once again. Place is always clean and tidy. Bathroom is large, bed is very comfortable
The room is new, clean, and very spacious. There is a bathtub and a shower. The staff provides good service. The hotel is in the market, close to restaurants, very convenient. Breakfast is OK.
The hotel has a good price, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.
Location is very good. There is a lot food provide near the hotel. But Breakfast area staff have less service mind.
Good enough, close to bus station - hospital - a lot of food nearby .

Very clean rooms.Friendly staff and great location.I won’t look for anything else next time I’m here.
Good, go take the exam. It's a little noisy.
Very nice place to stay, nice and clean rooms. A quality and quiet place.
Only a little hard to find on maps/apps cos the name is in Thai. Paste บ้านสบาย into the app.
Excellent option for a stay in Fang. Clean, friendly and great location. Morning breakfast was awesome.
Very clean and well kept. Staff very helpful. Car park and conference facilities available. Reasonably priced.

Chiang Mai Province, Mae Salong, 119 Moo 1, Maesalong Nok 🧭 Map
I stayed in a room with a shared shower, and I really liked it. Everything was clean, and there was a shared hair dryer. The bed was big, the bedding was clean, and the towels were all new. The Wi-Fi was good and fast. The room doesn’t have glass in the windows, but that’s normal for Thai villages. Since the house is old, it can be a bit noisy during the day, but at night there are no bikes passing...
Everything was great, thank you
The room is clean, the facilities are intact, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended

Stayed 2 nights in this amazing hotel. The view from the room is amazing. I also love the breakfast served every morning. The yun nan cuisine was cooked very well. The food, interior and atmosphere of the hotel felt as though you had teleported to another country. The oolong tea tasted amazing too. The staff were pretty sweet, although they mostly kept to themselves but were pretty attentive. There...
We had a wonderful stay at Wang Put Tan Boutique Hotel! The family room was huge and perfect for the four of us, with a spectacular view of the mountains.
Breakfast was generous and delicious — plenty of variety and everything fresh. We also had dinner at the hotel and couldn’t recommend it more — the stewed pork, Yunnan noodles, and tea leaf salad were all outstanding.
The staff were friendly and...
Good weather, good atmosphere, clean rooms, good bathrooms with gas water heaters.
From the window you can see the view of the tea plantation. In the morning, rice porridge and Chinese tea are served.
We were absolutely blown away by the views from this hotel! The bedroom was extremely cozy, and the decor of the room was perfect with the atmosphere. They had complimentary tea that was in the room with the cutest tea set for us to have it with. And the best part: their local breakfast tray which was so so delicious and filling- probably some of the best boiled rice we've ever had.
We LOVED our stay at Wang Put Tan Hotel! After traveling across Southeast Asia for the past two months, this hotel might be our new favorite. The beds are super comfortable (the right balance of firm and soft, unlike many SEA mattresses) and have extra cozy comforters for the winter time. The view is outstanding, from each room as well as the restaurant. The included breakfast is huge (!) and delicious...
