The accommodation is close to attractions, which is a plus. It's very clean and includes breakfast; I called to inquire and was told it was chicken rice porridge and a breakfast set with chicken sausage, plus they used a sofa bed as an extra bed. Overall, I was very impressed. You can check in until 8 PM, the price is affordable, and I booked only one day before my trip.

Top notch in customer service. The owners are friendly while being polite to everyone. The rooms are big enough to move around and there's a separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast is available, preordered. Parking space for around 6 vehicles.

Very nice hotel with even nicer owners. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely book it again! It’s a bit far from the city centre, but you’re rewarded with calm and peaceful surroundings. You can borrow a bike for free, or they offer very cheap motorbike rental and even bring the motorbike directly to the hotel. This was our third time at Baan Jaru. We had a very large room with 2 beds, big window. They served us breakfast which included fresh fruit. They can arrange trips in and around Chiang Rai. We like that the hotel is close to the bus station so you need no transportation after you arrive. Near the famous clock, night market, etc.

Had to attend to some family matters and stayed here for a couple of days. Located on the river, with lovely beautiful trees all around. Great hotel, but cleaners stole money. We had a great stay here for 1 week. Staff is incredibly helpfull and really tries to make your stay great by helping with all requests with a smile! I booked a triple room (single bed for each person). Unfortunately, there were no power outlets next to any of the beds. The room itself didn't have enough outlets. The hairdryer wasn't powerful enough. I was satisfied with the cleanliness. There were plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the taste was good, especially the pork congee.

I absolutely loved my stay at Bambuh! The rooms are surrounded by nature, offering peace and relaxation, yet it’s still conveniently close to stores and restaurants when needed. The property is beautifully maintained with a mix of modern and traditional style buildings to choose from. The host is incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. Such a lovely little hotel in a quiet area but only 20 mins walking to the centre! Room is perfect, bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and they give you two bottles of water everyday! Shower worked perfectly, I would note that little ant like things do crawl the room maybe they need a trap for those? Other than that it was amazing oh and a full length mirror which is rare for a Thai hotel...

Small, qiiet hostel, sayed in the ladies dorm, very quiet and clean. Basic breakfast included, and the can organise the slow boat teip to Laos, including the forms for visa on arrival. About a 15 min walk from the bus terminal 1 and town centre.

We rented a scooter from the guesthouse and it is just 10 minutes to the city. We definitely recommend staying here. For us it was a lot better than in the city center.
