Seaza Hotel in Chumphon City

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome—everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful, and always smiling. It really set the tone for a great stay.

The bed deserves a special mention because it was incredibly comfortable. Super soft, high-quality, and definitely not one of those cheap, rock-hard knockoff mattresses you sometimes get. I slept amazingly well!

Another huge plus was the TV setup—you can easily connect your own Netflix or Prime Video account, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Such a thoughtful, modern touch!

Overall, Seaza Hotel nails comfort, service, and convenience. I’d happily stay here again and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, high-quality hotel with fantastic staff.

Great little place @ fantastic price.
Lovely large, clean room, comfy bed, AC and small porch to sit and enjoy the outside. Great value for money.

Based opposite the best local restaurant, we ate here every day were stayed.... trying different dishes every night.

To note, the DIVE resort that is associated with this place, is no longer based here.... but its a stone throw from the slow overnight boat that goes to Koh Tao. I'd recommend staying here if you need the ferry/ or actively want to be in a quieter place out of town.

15mins out of town via car/ bike. You will need transport though and make sure you pick up snacks etc on route as there really is not much around the area.

Very good value, basic but clean, lovely helpful guy who picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the ferry port. There is a lovely local restaurant across the road. And a little coffee shop up the road where we had breakfast. Our host also took us to see the mountain viewpoint.

I stayed for one night because I runnet out of a spot in the night ferry to Koh Tao, and the location is ne xt to the ferry pier. The property was quiet and nice and the room and bed comfy.

Ben (the owner) was very kind, on the morning he needed it to go to the centre and asked me if I wanted to join him, we ended up getting along very well and he showed me many cool places around and gave me great explanations about what we see, eat and some cool information about Thai culture and society...

I work on tourism as a Trip Leader so I was talking with him about how nice and authentic his tour was and I tried to encouraged him to organize 1 day trips around his place.

In case he start doing these tours I highly recommend it, its gonna be definetely and authentic experience.

Wow, what a little gem to find. Got in late on drive up to Bangkok and found it on Google maps late at night just needing a place to sleep. Very cozy, clean, and staff is very nice.

Nice friendly folks, clean and quiet. Good location cause they organize all your snorkel and dive trips. Multiple languages and excellent English. Nice restaurant across street and quaint bar. Very worth the price, supper good time.

For diver - ideal, air-con,wan shows and very comfy bed with pretty nice location - I recommend restaurant on the other side of the street 👍

For the price you won't find a nicer hotel. The staff here are the nicest people you can meet in Thailand, fluent in 4-5 languages, & will do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your time here. They will make sure you always follow good diving protocol. That's also why they have a nice little lounge called the Safety Stop! I just dove Phuket & it doesn't hold a candle to this place. You've got 2 commercial Divers/ instructor's. 1 is PADI instructor & SAT diver, 1 is an SSI instructor & commercial diver. You probably can't find more experienced divers in town or possibly even Thailand. So if you want to have the safest & most enjoyable dive. Stay with these guys & not only will you have the time of your life but you'll also learn anything you want to.
