PERFECT HOTEL! If like us you need a base to explore the area then this is absolutely perfect! We wanted to see river kwai, do a boat tour, visit elephants and get a good taste of life outside Bangkok. Karanchanburi is a really easy drive from bangkok and the town is brilliant location for tourist stuff but also the food at the markets is really good and so cheap it almost feels free. I have stayed in hotels thousands of times and you need to respect that you get hotels for different purposes and audiences with different budgets. This one isn't a luxury hotel so.dont expect it and then complain. Just frame it properly - its on the edge of town so its a bit dark - its quiet perfect for good sleep and brilliantmfor access to main road to get on your day out. The breakfas5 isn't michelin star but is good fruit, bread and pastries, eggs and drinks to get you going but leaves more room for the street food at lunch! You need a car but why wouldn't you when its so easy to drive and explore here as everyone is so chilled out its infectious. yes you have to drive through a small area of stray dogs but they are away from the hotel and dont hassle anyone so its zero issue. I am sure if tou take a step 2m either side any of road here you will find all sorts of animals. The garden is beautiful and the pool there is delightful to swim and sit around surrounded by the trees and sounds of insects and birds. Its magical. So expect some leaves in the water. There is a small staff here and they do a good job of keeping the rooms working and clean and comfortsble and everything ticking over perfectly. We were a 2 adults and 2 teens and this hotel is perfect for what we needed it for. If you want luxury and can't manage to look after yourself for a bit, then this hotel and frankly this part of Thailand isn't for you. If you want a solid base, a good nights sleep, a quick dip and a quick breakfast start to really really enjoy this area then please stay here cause its brilliant.

It is a nice hotel in a quiet area. Nice rooms and have everything. The staff was really helpful.
There are free bikes to get around the area.

Relaxing
Our stay was superb. Jambo and his team take great care of us! The location is beautiful and invites relaxation. 3 km from the center, free bikes. H2 River Café for a meal is less than a kilometer away. I highly recommend it.

Quiet and small nice hotel, with beautiful rooms full of luxury. Breakfast american with many fruits. The pool is not charming at all, it wasnt nice to stay around it. We were alone in the hotel, for low season. The woman at the reception didnt speak english, so we used google translate but they ware adorable and the manager was very helpfull!

Hidden Gem in the Greenery
An unexpected arrival, we arrived barely 20 minutes after booking. We weren't expected... and yet, everything was done to ensure we were settled in the best possible conditions, with a smile and excellent service.
The hotel is in a beautiful green setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, conducive to peace and quiet.
The rooms were spacious and well-equipped. Thanks again to the team, we'll be back!

Very nice and quiet hotel. We traveled with our 3 kids and the staff was very nice and helpful. Beautiful and large rooms. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries. We had an excellent time in the journey ! We definitely recommend it !

Traveling in Kanchanaburi can be demanding, waterfall, trekking, WW II monuments, mountains and rivers so you need a good room to sleep properly. This hotel is unnoticeable from outside. It is rather a small gate. When you come in it is spacious. The best one is bedroom which is spacious, peaceful and quiet. You can feel at home. The bed is firm. You don't have back pain after a hectic long day. The restroom is very big. What I like the most is the bathtub it is like Japanese Onsen. I am sure the Japanese customers would love it. The decoration in the room is artistic. Choice of furniture, painting, curtains are of high quality (certainly not IKEA kind of furniture). I am sure the owner of the hotel is artist. It is suitable to stay one and two or more nights in between so you can explore most of the hidden places in this province. Highly recommended!
