Good location. 1.8km to the railway bridge, walkable from/to railway station (12 minutes) and museum and cemetery. 100m to 7-11. Swimming pool. Views over river.

Central location to all the bars , shops and places to eat. Nice back area with a swimming pool backing onto the river kwai. Not luxury but for around 13 quid a night then value can not be beaten! Haven't tried breakfast yet.

Simple yet always reliable place to stay in K-buri. Come here twice a year for ANZAC and Rememberance Day and always stay here. Comfy rooms, a bit Spartan but that's the charm. Beers in the lobby. Nice little pool and river front sitting if you just want to relax in front of the famous river Kwai The price is almost a steal and the staff are great. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this guest house, stayed here many times. Great clean pool with views over the river. Rarely anybody else there by the pool so it’s nice and quiet. 2 types of rooms, one a bit cheaper than the other. Staff are the outstanding factor of this guest house. Always friendly, welcoming and happy to see you.

Nice guesthouse for a short stay (3-7 nights). Street with restaurants, bars and shops is located just a stonethrow away. Tourist police stations nextdoor is very helpful too. Rooms are nice, pool also & staff is friendly. Excursions can easily be made from the guesthouse, ideas are available at reception. Rental for mopets in walking distance. Would recommend!

Just an all round nice place to stay. The views were amazing from our balcony and the rooms were on the smaller side but were clean and well air conditioned (needed for the 37°C heat). Located in a busy area of Kanchanaburi. Easy to reach the station. I booked the floating raft for two nights. The room is very essential, be aware there are ants all over and you can feel the floor moving as people outside pass. The bathroom desperately needs renovation. Charging my devices was sort of a nightmare: there are only a couple of sockets and they are placed so high you will have your device...

If you like bars with loud music, restaurants and as a single man going to "naughty" bars, then it is a good location. But, if you want to have a good sleep, it is a very bad location. I have got a room located towards the main strait. Music from the bars and traffic noise day and night (traffic stops around 3 am and starts at 5 am again). Get up early to make a trip to the Waterfalls not possible...

Nice guesthouse owned by a very friendly and helpful family. Very comfortable rooms, good shower. Breakfast offered in two different versions. We definitely will stay here again when we come back to Kanchanaburi

A very pleasant hotel. The rooms are clean, and the furniture and fixtures are in excellent condition. The courtyard has outdoor furniture and complimentary tea and coffee. It has a cozy, homey atmosphere—I highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We went for two nights and stretched to three shortly after we arrived. We would stay for a week the next time. There are a lot of places to visit when in Kanchanaburi! The accommodation was a comfy cabin as described. Everything was very clean and the pool was refreshing. The location was perfect for us. A close walk of 5 to 10 minutes across a bridge to the bars...

Very clean accommodation, shoes off in the building as a policy. The room was rather small although fully functional with a narrow balcony for smoking. The bathroom was tiny with the shower and toilet combined and a small wash basin that the door hit against on the way in. There’s no shelving either to place a toiletry bag etc. Coffee and biscuits, light snacks, are available as a substitute breakfast...

I stayed for three consecutive nights and was very well taken care of by the hotel owner, who helped me with many difficulties. The hotel environment was very pleasant and very clean.

The place is centrally located, and among a large selection of bars and restaurants. The room, standard double room, and bathroom were very good, but a little cramped. The hostess was super nice, and is a big plus for the place. Parking is available in front of the main entrance, or in the street outside the site.

Naeng and Pui are lovely, my phone broke and they organised for me to be picked up by Joy (she wasn’t due due to start work until much later) and Charlie. It's a great place for a one-night stay, especially considering the price. However, it's a bit out of the way, so a car is recommended for convenience.

There were so many mosquitoes in the room. I went out to eat and when I came back, the staff let another car park in front of my room instead, even though it was right in front of mine. They said they didn't know anyone was staying there.

The advantage is having a private space that's not too far from the light rail station. There's no dining area and no lounge space. Overall, it's alright for a one or two-day stay if you don't mind roughing it a bit.

I had a very comfortable stay. There were lots of food stalls nearby, so I had no trouble finding something to eat. There were also convenience stores and coin laundries nearby, so I think the location is quite good.

I toilet is only about 1 feet tall and after using the toilet, we had to flush the toilet for atleast 25 times because the toilet wouldn't flush. The bed and pillow is so soft that we can feel the springs in the bed. There are no mirrors, tables and chairs in the bedroom. The way u described it in the website and the result we got was different but, the riverside landscape was good.

I was on business, not sightseeing, and chose this place because it was easy to walk to the old market and near Bowonniwet Road. It's also convenient to walk from the bus station. In the evening, I also walked to the pier to enjoy the view, eat traditional Pad Thai, and other food. In the morning, I walked through Soi Hiran to find an old market to buy fried dough sticks from Kanchanaburi, with dipping...

Very kind and helpful hostel wardens! Nice coffee shop to the road, while rooms are in the back and therefore not as loud/noisy as the main road. Rooms are very clean with modern interior, so is the bath room. Fridge (!), wifi, A/C, hair dryer and TV on the room and inclusive.
