Poonsawasdi Hotel in Chiang Khan

I had an amazing stay at Suneta Hostel Chiang Khan. The place has a charming, rustic design that perfectly matches the slow-life atmosphere of Chiang Khan’s walking street. The wooden rooms are cozy, clean, and filled with thoughtful details that make the stay comfortable.

The location is unbeatable - right on the walking street, just steps away from shops, cafes, and the Mekong River. It’s convenient yet still peaceful enough to enjoy a quiet, relaxing night.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were always ready to help with recommendations and made the entire experience feel personal and warm. The common areas are also nicely designed, making it easy to relax or enjoy the riverside view.

Overall, Suneta Hostel Chiang Khan is a perfect blend of comfort, style, and local charm. I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Khan.

The rooms are in a wooden house style, giving a warm feeling like home. There is a private bathroom. If you like vintage style, I recommend it.

I felt like I was stepping back in time, as I checked into this traditional Isaan style accommodation house, right in the heart of the city center, in beautiful Chiang Khan, Loei Province, Northern Issan Thailand. I stayed for a couple nights in a snug, comfortable and amazingly quiet (given the hotel's close proximity to hustle and bustle of Walking Street etc.), sleep. Some of the facilities (as well as the plethora of curious memorabilia), are a little bit 'old school' and in the concert with the unobtrusive service, that is actually one of many, of the great pluses in staying here, as it feels like an authentic local Thai (Isaan Region) travel experience. My room was on the second floor, with a small balcony, standard sized double bed, extra sofa, plus work station space and strong air-conditioning. Charming decor, central location and a reasonable tariff, adds up to a most pleasingly different hotel experience here. I hope to be back ... 😎

Clean accommodation, good service staff, good atmosphere, next to the walking street, shops are nearby.

I booked a king-size bed room. The room is not spacious, but it is beautifully decorated and clean. The facilities are complete. The location is good. You can walk to the night pedestrian street. The B&B provides free bicycle service. The owner/administrator is also very enthusiastic to help me.

Cute accommodation, good location, not far from the walking street. The receptionist is friendly and gives good advice. If there is a chance, will definitely go back and stay again.
