The accommodation is cutely decorated and located right on the Chiang Khan walking street. There are both private and shared rooms, and bathrooms are shared on every floor. The service isn't bad, but they're not very helpful with directions and it's difficult to get through by phone. It's a good place to relax, but perhaps not very private. There's a parking fee, but parking at the temple is free.

It is a friendly and warm hotel. The gentle smile and guidance of the landlady made us very happy as soon as we entered the door. There are many group seating areas in the lobby, which makes it comfortable to quietly read a book or drink a cup of coffee.

Great resort to stay in Chiang Khan. Great place for Kids and families. Not far from city center and viewpoints. They have free bicycle to enjoy. lot of animals eg chickens, sheeps, rabbits, parrots, birds and beautiful ducks. Having own strawberry farm. Breakfast is awesome. Bathrooms needs a bit of maintenance.

Had room overlooking swimming pool and huge river as well as nice scenery, It was a pity about the plastic bottles floating down the river ( not that hotel has anything to do with this) otherwise a very nice scenic place to be . Clean rooms good service good location.

I booked a king-size bed room. The room is not spacious, but it is beautifully decorated and clean. The facilities are complete. The location is good. You can walk to the night pedestrian street. The B&B provides free bicycle service. The owner/administrator is also very enthusiastic to help me.

Although this is not riverside, I could enjoy more real local lifestyles. When you book, it might be better to consider riverside ones too. Only a few steps away (thankfully!) from the busy walking street but also so very nice. It is only one quick minute walk to the river. Comfortable bed and a quiet evening made for peaceful sleep. Fresh coffee and biscuits provide the wake up self-service. Definitely will return again soon.

Amazing service by a really nice and kind owner. When grab could not get us a taxi the owner helped us without hesitation. We really enjoyed our stay as the owner also helped us learn some Thai. In short service was no short of amazing and the price was verry good for what you get.

Nice and calm place to be from the city, there is a cheap skylab to take u there and really good taxi service aswell. Helped us get to chiang mai from chiang khan on a very difficult task. Also possible to take u to a couple views of chiang khan and surroundings! I really advice the so called “rabbit” temple east of chiang khan and the skywalk west of chiang khan. The atmosphere is very good. It's cute and compact, but not too cramped. There's a place to sit and eat with your family in front. 

The facilities are not very good, the service attitude is good, but there are often no staff in the lobby.

Its the first time for us staying in a container room. We were slightly apprehsive because of the heat and space. But thought give it a try. Really impressed, a little tight for space width wise, but spacious enough and comfortable. Excellent location with great views of the Mekong. Nice quirky features and excellent customer service.

The hotel is sutiated close to the river, so you can enjoy the scenery in the evening. The room is quite clean and not too small. The water and ac worked very well. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Sleep in a box...a container. It was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was OK. New batteries in the remote and I could have watched TV. Not a great loss because all the channels are in Thai.

Very helpful owner / staff, the place is stunning cozy in the middle of small cute Ching Kan town. My room is everything perfect. The room is a bit narrow. It would be difficult for someone to climb up to the second-floor bed.

Traditional Thai architecture, very clean, beds were very comfortable, fantastic spot right on walking street ❤️ The service 2nd to none, delicious food, and great view of the river at the rear of the hotel.

This is a great traditional teak guesthouse in a great location close to walking street. The rooms overlook the Mekong with the bedroom on a mezzanine, very comfortable but these might not be suitable for people with a disability as the steps to the bedroom are steep. Would definitely stay here again

Nice tenants and lovely place. Had good night's with the bed and comfortable pillow. Did enjoy staying there a few days with family. They can cook you a lovely meal or organize you hotpot / thai BBQ on request.

Smack right in the center of Chiang Kran walking street. No carpark slot, but you can park at the temple which is less then a min walk from the hotel.

Walking street (Cultural Road) was great to stroll up and down as was the boardwalk watching the sunset. Walking street does not come to life until 6pm... There is not a great deal of dining options here.

Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean - new towels and two bottles of water everyday. Very cute and simple decoration, shame I forgot to take a picture of the room before I messed it up. It’s charming but Spartan It’s a charming but Spartan old school, Hotel, a former governor‘s house. Don’t stay here for the comfort stay for the experience.

Everything is good except for the breakfast coupon. It's not worth the 70 baht per meal. It's better to find your own food. But the accommodation is very good.

There was no hair dryer in the room, but you can borrow one at the front desk. In the morning, they hold alms-giving ceremonies on the main street in front of the hotel, so it's a good experience to join in. You can choose from a wide selection of fragrant teas at the front desk and drink them yourself, making it perfect for drinking in your room on a cold night.

For the price of a hotel, you get a nice dorm room, but no storage space, a large bathroom, but frequent water and electricity outages. The price is too high for the service.

Short stay, but I was satisfied

The staffs are very good, but the room is very small. There were 2 of us and we couldn't breathe. So we asked to upgrade to a bigger room, which was a little better. But... the room is not soundproof at all. The room next door can hear everything they do. They also snored loudly all night. We couldn't sleep in our room.

When I arrived there about 6 am and I contacted to them. They let me early check in at 9:45 min without additional charges. Bath room is quite cleaned and location is the good, quite even closed to the walking street.

Location is perfect. Just 2 min walk to Chiangkhan walking street. There is 7-11 right in front of the hostel. Easy access from Loei airport. We stayed in room 202. The room size is perfect for a small family. There is everything you need in the room with private bathroom, Android tv , Wifi, air condition, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, bathroom amenities and towel. Bed and linen are clean and comfy...

The wooden house is located by the Mekong River and has a balcony with views of the river. Inside the room, there is a bathtub, but the floors are wooden and will make noise when you walk on them.

The accommodation is clean and beautiful. The back is next to the walking street. Everything is good.

all are excellent except that the wooden floor is so sensitive causing customers to be more caution when walking or moving inside the room when we supposed to be more relaxed and chilled.

I was very impressed with this accommodation from the moment I made the booking. The staff were extremely helpful and caring, and they thoughtfully recommended a room type suitable for elderly guests. My room was on the second floor and had a beautiful view of the Mae Khong River. The location was also very convenient, close to the walking street. A wonderful stay overall.
