Ban Glai Kong in Chiang Khan

This place was good and sufficient, especially the cat was soo cute! They have free instant coffee and bicycle, and the room was clean. Although this is not riverside, I could enjoy more real local lifestyles.

When you book, it might be better to consider riverside ones too. Most riverside hotels have a cafe or common space facing the river, and you can chill without paying. (I had to pay for coffee to use those areas bc I’m not a hotel guest)

Also, if you go in the late May on weekdays, there are very very few tourists. No one in the cafe nor tourists spots.

-The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the water heater worked well, and the water pressure was strong.
-Free bicycles are also available, perfect for exploring the area.

The accommodation is clean. The cats are very cute. The owner is kind. There is a hair salon next door. It is near the Mekong River. It is a 1-minute walk away.

Great location, close to the walking street and a 7-Eleven, plus parking. The room smelled nice, was clean, and had all the necessary amenities. If it had a hairdryer and towels, I'd give it 10 stars! My sister and I stayed for 600 baht each, which was much cheaper than other places. We were very happy with our first trip here. It might not be the best, but for this price and location, I think it's excellent value.

Only a few steps away (thankfully!) from the busy walking street but also so very nice. It is only one quick minute walk to the river.
Comfortable bed and a quiet evening made for peaceful sleep. Fresh coffee and biscuits provide the wake up self-service.
Definitely will return again soon.
