Grand PL Ville Hotel in Phatthalung

Big clean rooms outside of town.

The hotel seems to cater for both short- and long-term guest. Rooms are very large with plenty of cabinet and desk space, that could easily be fitted with a microwave or rice cooker for long term stays.
The bed was very comfortable, the AC cold, the refrigerator big. Unfortunately the bathroom was not designed well and although it was large, there was no divider wall between the shower and the toilet, everything got wet.
Free hot water coffee is provided at the lobby until about 10:30am.
Parking is somewhat limited and not covered.
At ~500B per night, this hotel is a good value. The only downside is the lack of an elevator to access the upper floors and the proximity of the room window to the next building (no privacy)

The staff at the reception was very friendly and spoke a bit of English.

Second stay, even better experience than before.

We stayed here about 3 weeks earlier on the way to the deep south, and based on our good experience decided to come back for a night… we ended up extending twice and stayed a total of 3 nights.
The staff was even more welcoming than last time, evidently they remembered us and appeared genuinely happy that we returned.
One reason why we only rated 4 stars on the last stay was the lack of privacy, as the room window is facing another building. This time we got a room facing the other side (west) where there is a parking lot and a good distance to the next building offering much more privacy.
Also after experiencing lower standards at higher rates that most hotels in the deep south offered we are happy to rate Grand PL Ville 5+ stars on this visit.
When we come back to Phatthalung we will stay here again for sure.

Nice stay but a bit confusing because they changed the name...

The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the hotel smelled great. The rooms were similar to Hop Inn. The price was a company contract rate of 550 baht. It's convenient with breakfast options right at the end of the street. I highly recommend it. I was very impressed.

The room is nice. It's near the market and convenient for traveling. The staff provides good service.

New hotel, inexpensive price but comes with nothing but towels. 2 small bars of soap 1 small bottle of shampoo, 2 bottles of water, other than that such as tea, coffee, kettle, no hair dryer. There are few electrical outlets.

Good moments.

The room is spacious, clean (but want the room to clean the bathroom more clean). Good service staff.

It's far from the city, but there is another Grand Peal branch in the city. It is recommended to make a reservation at the right place.
