Baan Pak Sukjai in Prachuap Khiri Khan

The owner is very kind and friendly, always looking after and helping with everything. They even lent me their motorbike when I wanted to go get something to eat at night. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable (not too hard), the atmosphere isn't luxurious but it's a nice place to stay overnight and then continue on your journey. The price is affordable and comfortable.

Actually, every room has aircons, but it's so nice and wise that they can modify a room for aircon hater like me into a fan room for cheaper price by removing a remote and putting a fan! I wish other hotels do the same modification service.

A bit far away from the train station and the town, but there's a shortcut that you can cross the railway, Google maps doesn't show this route, and it would be 10 to 15 minutes by walk to the train station or town center. But still, location-wise it's inconvenient because there's only few things on the other side of the train station.

Owner, good service, lovely, clean accommodation, parking in front of the room, refrigerator, kettle, water heater, complete, suitable for stopping by, traveling to work, compared to the price is a full ten, not broken. very good

Nice place with really friendly helpful staff. It is about 20 minutes walk from the train station though. Also about 20 minutes walk to the beach. There's a reception area with a bell (also some washing machines and a water machine). but I was checked in in the mini restaurant/shop at the back (where's there's free coffee in the morning). The room was very clean and spacious. The aircon & shower both worked well. The mini fridge is handy. The room was quiet and the bed comfy. There's a 7-11 just over 5 minutes walk away. Recommended when in PKK

People who rate this place less than 5/5 have no idea. I can't be bothered to read their discontent but sukjai is one of the last truly amazing family-owned places in PKK. backpackers have no idea how thai-style-motels work. They are used to farang-oriented places and sukjai is NOT such a business. U wanna stay here? Speak some thai, be gentle and get rid of your ego.
