Montana Hotel in Songkhla City

Great value hotel.

Rooms are spacious and very clean with large balconies and lots of natural light if you open the curtains. Beds are very large and very comfortable. Hot water works well and water pressure is decent. Good enough wifi signal that doesn't drop out easily. The very large balconies that make sitting outside and feeling the nice breeze at night very relaxing. Room-to-room sound isolation seemed very good compared to many other Thai hotels.

There is a restaurant next door that has live music until midnight on many nights, but it was all very mellow acoustic music during my four night stay and very enjoyable to hear at night.

Staff is helpful and professional.

Location is okay if you're a walker like me, but might be a bit better if you have a car or motorbike or just use rideshare. It's a 15-20 minute walk in either direction to get to either Samila beach or Old Town, but one of Songkhla's main bar streets is a block away with food and beverage options for locals and foreigners. It's still very walkable compared to many other Southern towns, but Songkhla can get intensely hot during the day. The hotel does have a shuttle that's available from morning to late afternoon/early evening.

I would stay here again if I ever return to Songkhla.

Beautful, large, airy rooms with balconies and good views. Comfortable beds and nice architecture. Very friendly front desk that speaks enough English. Great location close to the beach and a commercial street that caters to tourists. The downside is the horrible plastic plants everywhere, the clutter ,and lack of common areas. Tons of outdated notices and snack displays, maintenance and cleaning stuff in the hallway, a common area under the breakfast space and a parking area that look like shantytowns. Too bad, because the rooms are great. Management should wake up or be changed.

Really nice hotel , spotlessly clean, large room , massive bed with awesome mattress.
It even has a hob and oven in the room .
Lots of bars and restaurants close by .
Approx 20 mins walk to the beach or too the old town so perfect location.

Good place to stay, with breakfast included. Rooms were great especially the TV where you can log into your Netflix & YouTube account instead of just watching the local TV channels (Extra points for that).

Staffs were very friendly & helpful.

Recommended hotel in Songkhla.. Big room, clean, equipped with kitchen utensils, there is a microwave and there is a balcony..

Super comfortable hotel room for Songkla with spacious area and super clean. The room even has pantry area for light cooking and a microwave. Service is excellent including night staff, very polite and attentive. Will definitely stay here again.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. Reasonable price with excellent service. They provided buggy service to take me wherever i wanted to visit in the city. It made my trip very convenient and pleasant.

Absolutely amazing hospitality, loved every moment of the stay here. Central location, modern rooms, buggy service to key locations in the city - and everyone was super nice and welcoming including the owner! Definitely coming back here.

Nice, cozy and large room. The bed, bedsheet and pillow are spectacular clean and soft. Unbeatable with full amenities that couldn’t be found in such a local area with capsule coffee machine at front hotel and room service. The staffs are friendly and try to give a local advice. Free service for a short sightseeing that shouldn’t miss
