Centara Hotel Hat Yai in Hat Yai

Pros: near night market, kim yong market, excellent service, allowed early check in at 12pm, water provide
Cons: aircon too cold, old hotel, separate lift lobbies

Centara Hotel is always my 1st choice whenever I go to Hat Yai for working purposes. It is located in the heart of Hat Yai whereby the world famous Songkran Festival are held yearly in Hat Yai. It is a walking distance (within 10 minutes) to the famous Kim Yong Market. Within walking distance of 20 minutes, there are famous stall like JJ Haniense chicken rice, famous vegetarian stall, stretches of massage parlour, pubs and the super famous Odeon Shopping Center (less than 1 minute walk away). Tutuk are easily available just outside the hotel. Hotel staff are always on the lookout for arriving or departure customers. Breakfast in the hotel also is also a must try. It comes with a huge spread of local cuisine and international cuisine not forgetting to mentioned the hotel Sauna and swimming pool too..

Fourth time staying here. As usual the service is on top. The hotel allowed me to checked in earlier at 9am. Really appreciate it. The hotel breakfast is something I looked forward for every stay. The halal breakfast spread is delicious. Room is big n clean.

Location superb. Staff very good helpful. Breakfast good. The only thing that’s make me dissatisfied is hotel towel. Hotel should change hotel towel because the all towel is greyish not white and dirty.

Centara has great staff, everything you need, lovely views over Hatyai.

Everything is close by - bars, restaurants, shops, markets, temples, motorbike rental.

You can take the minibus from the airport which drops you close to the hotel for just 60 baht.

You can occasionally hear those typical annoying Thai loud motorbike engines but that's common almost everywhere.

I will always stay at Centara when I visit Hatyai, it's perfect for a short stay in a great up and coming Thai town.

I am from Malaysia and had a holiday here with my family. The hotel is super nice and very comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and suitable for families with children.

The facilities were excellent, and the overall environment was pleasant and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to other families. Will come again in the future!

All are very good, especially the staff and location .However I experienced water is brown due to maintenance of the pump, they said

Our family short trip to Hatyai for weekend. And unlucky whole southern thai is hit with monsoon rain and flooded the town center when we arrive about 3hours. Appreciate all the help given by Centara management and crew. Provide basic need to overcome the flood crisis. And also security and engineering team doing great job protecting car under basement carpark with proper barrication seal.
