Nice cosy hostel right in the middle of Songkhla Old Town. Air conditioning was not working on the first night however they changed room for us. Generally quiet after the town dies down at nighy.
As many has commented, there are problems with the mosquitoes, however I noticed that this is a general problem in Songkhla so don’t let that deter you from staying here. Hope the staff can spray the rooms with mosquito repellant coming into the night.
Wished they provided better towels instead, the ones provided are quick drying however does not absorb water that well.

Staff kind and welcoming. Cute cats.
Unhygienic. Mosquito infested. Shared bathroom smelly and mouldy. Mosquitoes swarming when using toilet.
At night, mosquitoes rises from shared bathroom, through noticeable gaps on doors, into bedrooms. Sleepless nights and swatted dozens of them.
Needs a deep clean. More dilapidated than rustic. Photos taken 8 months ago does not reflect current squalid state.

Beautiful hostel located in an approximately 200 years old building in the old town. Great location, close to the restaurants, very secure place, clean bedrooms, bathrooms could be a little bit renovated but in general value for the money is very good.

Very homely and cozy hostel with plenty of communal space to chill, excellent place for group travellers and also solo travellers. The option to book larger rooms also make it an excellent place for group travellers. The reception was also friendly and you will be greeted by the resident cats Cappuccino, Kopi and Pe.
Located right in the old town which is beautiful and gives you convenient access to many local, delicious and affordable eats as well as to more chic cafes in the old town for the vibes.
I love the old town and would gladly return to stay with Yu Hostel when I return

Great location in old town. Staff is super friendly and helpful. In the rooms you will find ac and a big fan, which work both excellent. You can refill your water bottle for free and there is a fully equipped kitchen. They rent out scooter as well.

Nice looking old-style dormitory
A/c, kitchen, co-working space. Well english speaking, but sometimes slightly reluctant stuff.
Do not trust CATS! They look lovely, but later take a piss onto your shoes!!

Strategic location: The staff is friendly.
The bathroom is quite limited, which only and has smell especially at first floor. Luckily, the ground floor is the number of toilets, and the bathroom can be used.
The dorm is ok only concern is the curtain seem not good, if possible please help to replace will can fully cover instead of half cut and very thin.
The cats all are cute, but if possible please try avoid cat go to sleeping dorm and it create an inconvenience.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It's located right in the heart of Songkhla Old Town, by Songkhla Lake, and not far from the beach. The room was very clean, the air was fresh, and the bed was quite comfortable. There's also a small courtyard. The hostel has three adorable cats. During my stay, it was just me and a Czech friend in the room, so it was very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Songkhla.

Very good facilities, kitchen and also a workspace available if you need to be on the computer. Location is right in the old town.
