Pick ip and drop off at the pier was a nice touch. Nice, quiet, clean, close to most and you can rent scooters direct from them. Walking distance to some decent restaurants and bar

Islanda Resort Hotel is a well appointed, comfortable stay. The view is spectacular and the staff could not be more accommodating. Anything you need or want is just an ask away. We were so happy with our stay and would happily recommend it.

The view at Islanda Resort is so beautiful. I booked a suite and loved the shower view (you can stare at the sea while showering and its intimate so no one can see you) as well as the view from my 2 balconies. The infinity pool is great too. Spectacular location, bungalows comfortable, restaurant food OK. The only problem was the pool, it was green and didn't look clean, but the sea was beautifully warm. Ferries (catamarans)from both Koh Chang and to the mainland worked well. Hire a golf cart from the hotel for a day to explore the island

The hotel is lovely as is the island - Koh Mak! The resort is located along an amazingly beautiful private beach and it is clear that the hotel staff invests in the visibility of the beach (cleanliness, etc.), in front of it is Koh Cam Island and there is a paid boat that will take you and bring you back. Stumbled on this lovely beach and bar while exploring Koh Mak. Will definitely consider staying here next time. Bar lady spoke excellent English, was very friendly and started happy hour early for us! Place was very clean and water was clear. Best of all they had a generator when the islands power went down for 5 hours unannounced!

Beautiful secluded location. Very friendly & helpful staff. The place was also very clean and the pool is great with a fantastic sea view. Breakfast is really good- buffet style! Hidden gem ! We tried many resorts on this island, and that one is definitely the best one. The beach is beautiful and clean. Really beautiful resort with amazing sea view and cool infinity pool. Too bad the restaurant wasn’t that nice. A little too cool and staff don’t speak English except the owner. Breakfast is à la carte. If you want full sea view, take the grand deluxe villa. All the other houses are behind these villa’s.

Good location. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. The bathroom could do with an update. Plenty of complimentary tea and coffee offered. The white curtains don't keep the light out so expect to get woken up when the sun wakes up!

Great location and friendly staff. Weak WiFi though especially in the rooms. Also the hotel needs to be updated. I’ve stayed there often and believe it’s time for remodeling.

Very nice basic clean room with a comfy bed and lovely pillow in a quiet part of town a very short walk from markets and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helped with organising tickets to ko Mak and a shared songtaew (Ute) to the ferry terminal.

A great little efficiency room Not going to spend a lot of time in the room but it was great for the kids. Room was right next to the beach and closer to the restaurant and pool. I was scared by some reviews but everything was good, room and facility look freshly renovated (paint at less), swimming pool is good, front of the beach, not noisy. My bathroom was little bit small and the windows missing. But overall is was very good. I would just suggest the staff to tell some customer to not smoke weed around the pool, it smell too bad and there is children in the hotel

In january is was great. Now in low season they should better close the whole business. No restaurant, no drinks, nothing. They do their best but when there are almost no guests. We were the only ones.

The pictures look a lot better than reality. Clean room.... just small and closeby other rooms. Also don't book free breakfast through Agoda... I had to argue with restaurant manager before she seceded.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort. The rooms were large and well appointed clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar were also very good as we're the meals provided. Excellent on beach views. Definitely going again

My family stayed here for a few days. They said the place was cozy, the location was great, and the price was reasonable.

A decent hotel for a good night's sleep. Everything is there, everything is decent. Cleaning is done according to the sign on the handle. We hung our sheets every other day, and they even changed the sheets, leaving a 35 baht tip. Not necessary. There's an observation deck on the 4th floor with a good view of the sea and the island. I'd like to mention the good buffet breakfast, with a different soup...

It is nice to stay. Available for khmer people, even you can't speak Thai or English because a staff member here comes from cambodia.

The accommodation is good, quiet, near the sea, clear water, delicious breakfast, the owner provides very good service.

The hotel is old, and the rooms are so-so. It's quite far from the shops.

If you really want a get away for a simple resort, this is the place. It has a very long pier (1km) out into the sea. Very charming and natural setting. Villas looks old and need repair. So does the walkways. This place has meeting rooms too But open air style! Very tranquil place to be. Getting here is by boat only.

Deserted during the day: go then if you like quiet. Take a stroll on the awesome Boardwalk.

The cottages are lovely and clean, and the shower is nice and warm. The beds are a bit hard, but manageable. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The beach is wonderful, and the sunbeds are great.

The beach on this side of the island is much nicer than the other side and there are many restaurants nearby, however the food is so good at Baan Koh Mak, you may never want to leave!

We were in the 3rd villa and this is the most amazing view that we have ever had on this island, and we have lived in 5 different hotels and we have something to compare with. Location-wise: you have to have your own vehicle to go there. The place is quite far from the main road. food-wise: No other options. Very nice hotel close to the airport. Very fresh. The maneger she did a Very excellent job with coordinating everything. She made us excellent food in the evening. Can recommend the chicken cashew nut dish. She was very service minded. For a small amount they also offer transfer service from and to the airport. And other places to. Taxis are expensive in this area, so the offer for transfer service...

When you got late to ferry, it is a nice spot to stay. Lovely host, nice pool, good food. But nothing around.

We stayed there 14 days. Our intention was to have a hotel on the mainland close to the ferries to Koh Chang. Thete is about 15 minutes ride with a car to the ferries. The room were very good, wit dayly cleaning if you wanted. We choosed cleaning every 3rd day. The hotel is located very remote with surrounding plantations of the fruit dorian and bananas. The narrow concrete roads are not very suitable...

it was nice to stay here 3 days 2 nights with a good view from my room there have own balcony which connect the beach and i quite like there quite and peaceful island where nearby pier just 1 km. and also easy to buy foods or drink both inside and nearby the place. lastly , the owner their service it pretty sweet and kindness. i'll visit again for sure.
