Where to stay in Sfax

One night stay as part of a group tour. Did not visit anything in Sfax, just used hotel as a stopover. Arrived 6pm ,for an included meal at 7pm. No time to use pool (saw it, seemed too small to swim in ,just an add on to beauty treatments?) Room adequate , had cups/tea/sugar sachets but no kettle. Window opened onto small balcony with view of tatty buildings opposite. Meal tedious French style 3 course...

Very well located, walking distance to the Medina and restaurants. Be mindful that most restaurants are closed for dinner on Sunday, except the hotel restaurant which was good. The staff is friendly, considerate & competent. I recommend this hotel.

Good hotel with nice rooms big rooms and bath tub. The hotel probably one of the best in Sfax and is located in the center of the city. There is, however very little to see/do in the area. The hotel has parking with limited spaces and an indoor swimming pool, but unfortunately there is no gym. I had a pizza in the hotel restaurant but i did not like it.

Really impressed by this hotel, an oasis of tranquility. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Provided a vegetarian meal option which was delicious and beautifully presented. A taxi was 10TND to the medina. The pool is clean and refreshing. Would definitely recommend to family and friends visiting Tunisia.

I spent a few days at the hotel attending a meeting I was jointly organizing with my local partner. The Borj Dhiafa is definitely where you want to stay when in Sfax. This hotel gets 5 stars from me. The staff, rooms, restaurant are all the best. The hotel is kept immaculately clean, rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly & speak many languages. The food served in the restaurant is delicious. I've traveled the world and the Borj Dhiafa is where I'd want to stay the most.

Authentic cultural Place Good value for the price.

We liked our room which is very small, wonder why they didn’t add shelves in the room and specifically the bathroom, there were no place to put toiletries down anywhere. Our room was clean and comfortable. The best part is the breakfast buffet. It’s big and has almost everything we wanted from fresh fruits to western dishes. The meat plate has so many selections, and so was the breads and dessert options

Very clean rooms, great shower, toiletries and towels. Single beds are too small for my taste. Breakfast had a great variety of foids for all tastes. Dinner was a revelation with the best, perfectly cooked, tender, thick steak that I have had to date in Tunisia.

Every time we come to Sfax we came to ibis I would like to thank all of them from the receptionist to the restaurant staff. A Very accomodate professional and nuce staff. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room although on the smaller end was very comfortable. The food was great for both the Iftar and Suhoor with great variety. The overall atmosphere was lovely with live music and good food. I genuinely recommend staying here, if you’re in the area.

The hotel is very quiet and clean. I was assigned a very small room. The breakfast was OK. It was just like other hotels. It was a Western breakfast with no hot food.

Great hotel, has parking and very comfortable and well-appointed rooms. The best breakfast in Tunisia - great options. Helpful staff, great security guard. There is a bar in the hotel which can get busy and loud- we didn't hear it in our rooms however. It's about 5min drive from the medina and a 20min walk.
