Hotel Borj Dhiafa in Sfax

Really impressed by this hotel, an oasis of tranquility. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Provided a vegetarian meal option which was delicious and beautifully presented. A taxi was 10TND to the medina.
The pool is clean and refreshing.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends visiting Tunisia.

I spent a few days at the hotel attending a meeting I was jointly organizing with my local partner.
The hotel was beautiful with a beautiful swimming pool that I did not use, nice deco, spacious bedroom, nice hall and good food at the restaurant.
The massage at the spa was amazing. I wish I could have had more massage.
Mme Zinet and her colleagues have been the best hosts. I highly recommend this gem in Sfax.

Borj Dhiafa fully lives up to its five-star rating. The property pairs Sfax’s historic “borj” fort-style stonework and mashrabiya latticework with polished business-class comforts.

Service was attentive from the outset: fresh lemonade appeared the moment we arrived, and minutes after check-in a waiter brought a chilled bottle of water and a generous fruit platter to our room. The staff’s warmth never wavered and echoes the consistently positive remarks I read before booking, which praise their professionalism and kindness.

We did not have time to visit the Aroma Spa, sauna or hammam, but my son was delighted with the fitness area, and breakfast impressed us with ripe local fruit and fresh pastries.

The rigorous standards that once defined every aspect of Tunisian hotelkeeping (service, maintenance, cuisine and attention to detail) have unfortunately faded in many properties since 2010; Borj Dhiafa remains one of the rare exceptions.

Overall, it was a positive experience. The architecture is impressive, and the room was spacious with a very comfortable king-size bed. The amenities were well-provided, and I appreciated the fresh fruit waiting for me upon arrival. The breakfast offered a selection of authentic dishes, which I found to be in perfect harmony with the overall vibe of the place. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try the spa area, but it looked promising.

The Borj Dhiafa is definitely where you want to stay when in Sfax. This hotel gets 5 stars from me. The staff, rooms, restaurant are all the best. The hotel is kept immaculately clean, rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly & speak many languages. The food served in the restaurant is delicious. I've traveled the world and the Borj Dhiafa is where I'd want to stay the most.
