Reviews
Nobody came to clean the room during our stay. Even when asked, they emptied the bins only.
If you want to get something, don’t call at reception, as they will say ok but it will not be done. Go there and your issue will be solved.
Reception guys are very friendly, and know English. Once you come to them, they will solve the issue very happily.
Breakfast is just ok. You will get bread, jams, one boiled egg, cheese and fries.
My suggestion to the hotel administrator is to improve the quality. Particularly breakfast. At least you can add omelettes station at very low cost. And plz give something filling during breakfast.
Also plz improve the room service quality. Staff is good and helpful but probably there is not an adequate number of people to cover it.
Overall it is a good hotel
I stayed at this hotel for one night, and while I initially felt I had made a great decision, the experience quickly changed the next morning.
The positives:
The hotel is tucked behind a small shopping plaza, and the rooms themselves are genuinely impressive — clean, modern, and comfortable. The reception staff were excellent: polite, helpful, and truly accommodating. They deserve 5 stars on their own.
The major issue — the breakfast.
For a hotel advertising itself as 4-star, the breakfast was unbelievably disappointing. There was only a tiny table with very limited options, and the situation got worse from there. By 9 AM — well within the 8–10 AM breakfast time — they had run out of eggs, chips, and other essential breakfast items. When we asked, we were casually told there was no more food, despite the hotel not being busy at all.
Guests who came after us were left with almost nothing except salad. No juice, no breakfast drinks — just water. Even coffee wasn’t complimentary; you had to pay extra, which is shocking for a hotel claiming to be 4-star.
The entire breakfast setup felt more like a 2-star budget hotel, and it completely ruined what could have been a great stay.
Final verdict:
Beautiful rooms and excellent staff, but the breakfast experience was so poor that I would not recommend staying here unless they seriously improve their food service. As a family, we were relieved it was only a one-night stay. Until the breakfast is upgraded to true 4-star standards, we will not return to Alice Hotel.
The staff at the reception desk only told us which floor we needed to be on and what time we could go to breakfast.
Once in the room, we saw that they had converted a sofa into a bed, a single bed, and a double bed. We were supposed to get two rooms (a family room), but this wasn't the case. The room was supposed to have a sea view, but we were looking at the back of the building, so this wasn't the case either.
The room was clean. It had probably been recently renovated, because the bathroom floor was covered in broken tiles.
The showerhead made an incredible noise while showering. This was unbearable, so we didn't all shower that morning.
Breakfast was supposed to be served in the morning, and it was included in the price. However, there was practically nothing. When I asked for white bread, I was told it was out of bread, even though we were downstairs well in advance for breakfast. Everything was replenished very late, and I have to say the variety was very limited.
In short, a shame!
The breakfast setup was also disappointing. The restaurant didn’t have proper air conditioning—just portable coolers that only worked if you were sitting right in front of them. This made it very uncomfortable in the peak August heat.
The breakfast itself was extremely limited. There were no options for kids apart from fries, and no fruits or juices were served—just Turkish tea and water. When I raised concerns with the staff, their response was dismissive and unhelpful, which made the experience even more frustrating.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but serious improvements are needed in cleanliness, breakfast quality, and especially staff attitude during service.
You stole my money from the room. The first time I reported it, you admitted that housekeeping entered the room and moved our stuff and said you would investigate. Then you told me the money was left by us. After that, you said maybe I lost it outside. And then you threatened me, saying if I post a one-star review, you will report me.
I will keep posting one-star reviews every day because you stole from me. You made me go into debt just to finish my trip.
It’s your responsibility that the housekeeper left the job — not mine. But unfortunately, you stole from me and blamed me just because I reported it a day after it happened, and by then the housekeeper had already quit
I had to change rooms four times in four nights, which was extremely inconvenient and stressful.
First night: Everything was fine.
Second night: The electricity in the room stopped working. Since no standard rooms were available, the staff moved me to a family room and told me l would have to move again the next day.
Third night: I packed all my belongings and moved to another room. However, when I returned from the beach the next day, I found that my things had been moved without my knowledge to yet another room due to a water issue in the previous one. This was a serious breach of privacy, as some of my personal items were handled without my consent.
Not only did I have to move my belongings multiple times, risking loss or damage, but the final move was done without informing me, which I found completely unacceptable.
In total, I stayed 4 nights in 4 different rooms.
Additionally:
This is more of an apartment-style hotel rather than a proper hotel.
It is far from the city (around 1 hour), making it inconvenient for those who want to explore.
There are no hotel-like amenities such as a pool or private beach.
The breakfast is very basic and not worth it.
If you're looking for an all-inclusive experience, this is definitely not the right place.
