The owner was very welcoming and directed us to the north gate of Pamukkale, which only takes five minutes. One route leads from a small commercial street with delicious restaurants and two small supermarkets

The location is not far from the center of Selcuk town. Crossing the road behind the hotel and walking for about 10 minutes can reach the town's dining places

The room was spacious, with a living room and a clean, cool tiled floor. There was a small balcony, which we used to dry clothes

I bought my groceries at SOK, and the prices were very reasonable

I had a wonderful stay and was truly impressed by the overall experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the atmosphere was both welcoming and relaxing

Staff was super attentive, gave our shuttles and responded promptly to questions. Breakfast was amazing on the roof top and the water pressure was so great. We loved the town and it felt so peaceful and great!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Akai! The location is excellent, just within walking distance of the town. The staff service is incredible, they truly go the extra mile

Even when no taxis were available, they personally took us to the train station. The pool area and courtyard are beautiful and very relaxing, and the little dog Cookie brings so much joy to the place

Overall positive results experience! Refreshing pool with convenient pool bqr, very close to st john basillica and old town and nice overall look and feel

However, it was not pleasant because people were allowed to use the pool area for the day. Even if they were allowed to use it as a family, it would have been better

There were young people jumping in the pool and cursing among themselves, which made us feel uncomfortable. It does not look nice in a family place

Our stay was very nice, the owner was always at the property, the room was clean and big, but as you can see they also take daily guests to the outdoor pool and for this reason the pool is always crowded and noisy, the breakfast is nice and sufficient, the facility is clean

When we stayed, the pool wasn't open but it would be a nice place to relax by the pool after visiting Ephesus in a hot day

The location is stunning, in a valley surrounded by rocky peaks and orchards. Great infinity pool.

Looking at the photos, we expected a pool at the place, but the pool is actually about 20 minutes out of town via dolus (pretty easy to get to/from) at a mountain pension owned by the same person who owns Vardar

Just a heads-up! The pool is well worth the trip out there, though! Vardar is conveniently located, walking distance from the main Selcuk bus terminal, with busses to Ephesus leaving there every 15 minutes or so

Helpful personnel, Nice swimming pool

The place is simple, but the 2 ladies that run the pension are lovely. They also offered to make us breakfast. We can totally recommend it if you are not looking for a luxury stay but a real and familiar environment

It's a spartan but cozy pension in the center of Selçuk. The room was clean, and the hosts were super helpful. They also let us check in earlier as we arrived from a night bus journey

Its a family owned business, and although it is very difficult to find a hotel in this price range with an off street parking space, they still guide you to the street next to the hotel that the staff watches 24/7 and you park your car there

I loved every detail of this place. The room was so beautifully designed with Greco-Roman elements, the shower was clean . The stay was comfortable . The breakfast was simple, ethnic tastes. Highly recommend this place!

Got in to this place at 2am and they were super gracious. It was THE most beautiful boutique hotel ever! I’ve been all around Europe and the states and Never fell in love as fast with a place. It was gorgeous!!

I also noticed that the visitor parking lot for St. John's Basilica seemed available for overnight parking, as it was mostly empty in the evenings. The drinks in the mini-bar were also reasonably priced

It’s walking distance to the downtown Selçuk where you can find various restaurants and cafes. The included breakfast buffet was great. The staff were nice and easygoing

Their hospitality is beyond what we would expected! I wish I could stay longer and I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to come back again if we visit Ephesus

Weather permitting, you can walk down a dirt road from the hotel, through the orchards, and to the ruins. The manager was so friendly and welcoming
