Very friendly family-feel hotel. location is best of none. it's on a flat ground (avoiding dragging suitcase up hill). it's close to the busy centre of town but also is located on a quiet street. The bus station to Ephesus is just across the street. Some local supermarket on the back side of the bus/taxi park area.

We stayed 5 nights. Umut and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and lovely shower and yummy breakfast. The location is perfect if traveling on foot, close to bus stop, shops and restaurants. The local sites are close to the hotel. Easy day trip to Ephesus, Kusadasi and Sirince. Nicea Hotel is located in a very convenient location just across the road from the bus station. There are also plenty of good food options very close by as well as supermarkets and shops within a 10 minute walk. Giving low rating due to 2 reasons: 1) bathrooms have transparent glass doors which are not suitable for families with children. 2) there was a problem with air-conditioning and only the person at reception could set temperature and fan speed. Everything else was fine.

Complicated review but tl;dr, book it. We originally booked the penthouse but there was a problem with the toilet. The room was a bit strange as the toilet had no door and your pillow is about six feet away meaning you will see, hear and smell everything your partner does. Eeks. EXTREMELY comfortable bed and a large room. I LOVED the view (mountain). This is an owner-run hotel and the owner speaks German, English and Turkish. Reception gave us valuable advice about what were going to do. The atmosphere at the hotel was very light and the interior chosen with love to detail. I spent very good time and felt well there.

Don’t let the exterior fool you when you drive up, behind it is a little oasis. My wife and I camped here one night and swam in the pool which was a perfect respite from the heat. They have a nice bar to get drinks from and the employees were very nice an accommodating.

The food is stellar! I really enjoyed each meal, you need to eat here!!! The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating, & their hospitality was second to none. I will absolutely stay here again when I am in the area!

If you are in Selcuk, no matter who you are Atilla's is the place to park yourself at. Its right outside the hustle bustle of the town with fantastic view all around. They also have free shuttles through out the day to and from the city. Its a sprawling place. you can choose to socialise or find your own spot. Kudos to Lonely Planet to pointing us towards the Celsus Butik Otel. The rooms are specious and beautifully designed, and the common areas are bright and decorated with plants and flowers. We didnt swim, but the pool looked inviting. Breakfast selection was varied and all delicious. Celsus Hotel is in an excellent location, close to historical sites and restaurants. The staff are so friendly, caring and helpful. The room was lovely although the shower is challenging. We would be happy to return.

The hotel itself is nice, rooms are clean and comfortable and the garden and common areas are nice. Location is very good. Unfortunately the service was not what we expected… the lady from the reception was “rude” at times… when asking her something she seemed bothered by us. A Turkish version of UK Travelodge/ Premier Inn. Cheap, clean and comfortable with a good variety of eateries locally and on site car parking. Breakfast buffet was good with a reasonable selection. Would stay again.

A quiet hotel located in the center of Selcuk, in an easily accessible location where you can go to the bays and touristic places in the region daily by car or minibus. Accommodation fee is more affordable than many hotels / hostels / apartments in the region. I recommend you to call early to make a reservation, there is no easy place. Clean rooms affordable price and nice stuff good location

The host is very knowledgeable and guided us well on what to visit during our short stay. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk into the main area of old Selcuk, close to many restaurants, shops, etc. Breakfast was good, consisting of a hard boiled egg, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread, jams, and honey.

Our kids told us this was the best hotel we've EVER stayed in! They esp. liked the pool, Lokum the very cute westie and all the cats. Us grownups agree and also really valued the very pleasant staff who made us feel at home and gave great tips for the area and beyond. Highly recommended.

Perfect! The host is always there to recommend a good restaurant or dolmus route. The breakfast is simply absolutely decadent: bread, cheese, yoghurt, egg, fruit, veg, olives, cake... Much of it comes from the family's orchards and fields. Comfy rooms, quiet courtyard, nice pool.

Hi Iksan! Iksan is the landlord of the hotel. He is a guy who makes things happen. The hotel is simple, clean and a 5 minute walk to the center of Selcuk. And did i mention the unique view towards Efes and the sunset over the sea?

Family run facility. Great roof top patio for breakfast, quiet and private. Beautiful swimming pool. Very pleasant and accommodating family owners. Tuba and Bekir went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Bekir even gave us a ride down to the bus station on our departure day. Would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and the hotel with the pool is super nice. They kept our luggages during our daily trip to Ephesus and offered us bathroom and pool usage even after check-out when we got back!

For me it was a very nice hotel, the rooms may not be luxurious but they met my expectations, it's fantastic that they have a swimming pool, you can relax in the shade of a banana tree.

Great stay at Hotel Akay! Lovely pool and nice, simple, clean room (we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a poolside room from a standard room). Quiet neighborhood and good location. WiFi best in pool area, sometimes spotty in the room, but overall we had a very good stay!

My husband and me looked from internet and find most resonable price here. To be honest, i didn’t expect this place so good for that price... This is an ideal place for travellers who wants to be close to nature and far from noise and Şirince's day trippers. Mali, the hotel proprietor offered free trips to and from the village which I found a unique service provided to their guests. Highly recommended and a true value for money boutique hotel.

When we first walked in we loved everything about the hotel, it was small, cute and charming. However when you cannot find a place to put your luggage, or have to go under stairs or over a bed to reach the bathroom it stops being nice and gets claustrofobic instead. there are too many furnitures and objects, it is very difficult to move around in the room.

Beautiful room I stayed in and great support from the staff. It’s well situated, I just left my car in a Main Street close by and from the hotel I could walk to reach the attractions around town. Good breakfast with a lot of variety. I would definitely go again.

My mother and I stayed here as we came to visit Ephesus. This hotel has a vintage feel to it and everything was very clean. The internet is bad, impossible to work with PC or stock market. But the owner promised to repair. Relatively quiet location. But even on Sunday after 8:00 am will be loud on the street. Walking through the streets of the district, I conclude that it would be even louder in other hotels. There are some defects in room accessories, cases. But the design elements are fantastic. The most quaint and cozy boutique hotel, complete with a gorgeous assortment of artefacts.. it has been so tastefully decorated.. the owners r unbelievably warm and helpful, more than i have seen in all my travels so far.. breakfast was great and had such a nice homely feel.. ibri hotel has my heart! had a hard time leaving and hope to be back soon!!
