We stayed here for one night. The location is very central. The rooms are good, except for the bathroom: the shower has mold and would need proper cleaning. Hence we didn‘t want to use it. Because of the mold there is also a bad smell in the room.

Very cute hotel, but I suggest that they clean the showers with anti-mold cleanser, such a pitty.

The hotel is 1 min walking distance to the beach, which is very convenient. The street is calm. There is wifi.

Disastrous experience! Booked via Agoda. Were looking forward to our stay here. Arrived around 9pm and didn't even make it to the door. The drunk receptionist met us at our car with the news that he had given our room away with no notice. He did us 'a favour' by taking one suitcase on his motorbike whilst making us walk to an alternative hotel. The place was in a state of poor repair and could only be described as seedy. I am so upset I could go on forever. Not a great welcome to Amasra. Here is a fabulous photo of our host... not 🙄

Such a nice place. The building were restoreted by the owner family and now they manage here. The hotel has everything for a couple.

Kum Butik Otel is an authentic hotel with 5 rooms in an old house. The rooms decorated with the Turkish lace interior. Small TV and huge mirror. Tasty breakfast. Curtains required to be washed

This hotel is located at a quiet alley close to the shore.The building was restored out of an old traditional Turkish house called "konak". Hence, its atmosphere is very authentic with nicely decorated rooms. The staff was also kind and friendly. One major downside is mediocre service/price ratio. It is notably more expensive than most of the hotels in the area. However, the breakfast is quite simple and it is prepared out of cheap food that you can even find in the stores nearby. All in all, it deserves 3-3.5 stars.
