Beyzade Konak Otel in Safranbolu

Room was leaking, water dropping next to the bed & straight away on the pillow. It happened at 8:15pm ish and I called for a couple of times, nobody picked up the phone. Building 4 is extremely far away from the main biding (building 1), location is relatively bad. It’s not even worm enough during winter time, the heater can’t warm the whole room to a certain comfy temperature. Very bad and frustrating in general. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

It was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. At the time of arrival, the first thing they had asked was if we were married. We told them that we were engaged, but the woman at the reception had to ask to the owner even though we told them that this requirement was not even listed on the app we made the reservation through. They gave us a room somehow. Here comes the worse part: this is the average bathroom size you are seeing in the pic. We immediately requested another room with a reasonable bathroom. Our new room was very small, didn't have a closet, and barely had a space to stand up and change clothes. In the middle of the night I woke up with water sounds. I realised that water was pouring down from the ceiling. It was the shower water from the room above us. That was the moment we decided to leave asap.

Never ever believe the hotel descriptions. I understand that the buildings are quite old but the conditions could definitely be better.
