We spent four wonderful days and three nights at Camilca Konak Carsi and it was truly a memorable experience. This charming family-run guesthouse is hosted by a warm and incredibly kind lady who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.

The wooden architecture of the house is beautifully unique, evoking us travelling through the time to relive the sights of the past. Our room was spacious, spotless, and cozy. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the homemade Turkish breakfast served each morning—fresh, delicious, and made with love. It added such a personal and comforting touch to our mornings.

What truly moved us was the host’s generosity. On our first night, we arrived by taxi without any local currency, and she kindly paid the fare for us without hesitation. Her hospitality and kindness left a lasting impression on us.

If we ever return to this enchanting little town, we will absolutely stay at Camilca Konak Carsi again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a warm, authentic, and unforgettable experience. Last but not least, the cheese, jams serving with breads in the breakfast are hand made by her own. These all are the super delicious you must love them.

I almost canceled my reservation because I couldn't find her homestay at first. 😓 I finally found it after searching for almost an hour, but we couldn't speak the same language. 😓 The kind and beautiful hostess was very patient in communicating with me. Thank you so much! They're very friendly to Chinese people. Be prepared for the Islamic kirtan that goes on until midnight, but it doesn't disrupt your sleep; you'll sleep soundly. The breakfast the hostess made the next day was delicious, and the Turkish black tea is perfect for Chinese people. 😍 I loved it. Thank you, beautiful hostess!

Truly a home away from home
A very charming bed & breakfast being managed by a very sweet lady. The rooms are beautifully decorated in ottoman style. The owner is very helpful and hospitable and the homemade breakfasts in three morning were also very delicious. Definitely a place to return to.

Beautiful home and lovely hosts in Safranbolu
This is the most beautiful place we've stayed at in Turkey. Özlem is warm, caring, hospitable, helpful and works hard all day to make sure all of her guest have a lovely time in Safranbolu. The place is super clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious. Staying here made our time in the village even more special. We would strongly recommend! Thank you Özlem! :)

Homemade breakfast was delicious, the room was very traditional, and the location was perfect for accessing old town. The host speaks minimal English so please learn basic Turkish or Google translate. Highly recommended!!

The location is very good, a five-minute walk to the old town. There is a parking lot. The breakfast is delicious and the service is friendly. There are no disadvantages except that the toilet is a little smaller.
