My stay on April 5th was a complete disaster. In the middle of the night, a burst pipe flooded my room, soaking my belongings and making it impossible to stay there. After the flooding, the staff forced me to change rooms, but only after delaying and acting as if it were a burden for them. There was no apology or genuine concern for the inconvenience caused.
- The room change felt rushed and unprofessional, with no effort to explain the situation or reassure me.
- Despite the obvious fault in their maintenance, the hotel refused to offer any refund or compensation for the ruined stay.
The lack of accountability and basic customer care was shocking. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. Save yourself the stress and money—this place does not prioritize guest comfort or responsibility.

Everything better than ok.
Although they do not speak English, we helped each other with internet applications and other guest (and friends of the hotel owners)
I very liked the automatic doors but not so much the automatic water tap. I understand however that it helps saving water.

Amasya is a cute town, the Simre is well located. It's decent value for the money, but you can probably do better. Next time I will try a different hotel. The front desk staff is helpful, however. The door to our balcony didn't lock. The sheets smelled clean but the towels all smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom lights were dingy at best, making taking a shower difficult, and one shower door was missing altogether.

I booked in a different hotel and somehow I ended up in this hotel! It’s located in the old city near the local shops and river. The furniture is very old and the bathroom is not cleaned enough (there were bugs and ants dead in the shower)! The breakfast is below average. I don’t recommend it. I think there are better hotels. The receptionist came to our room and opened it without even knocking the door😑. I don’t know why she even came to the room without us asking for anything!

The location is perfect. Walking distance to most attractions. The staff are very kind and really want to serve. The views from both sides are wonderful.

Our choice when visiting Amasya Province was Simre Hotel beautifully located in second line of (Yeşil Irmak - Green Creek) bank, the hotel has two views, either the city, or the mountain plus train rail.
The rooms are clean and quiet, great place to take a break and enjoy fantastic views of the mountain, take fresh air all around with the sound of the river flowing.
The rich breakfast make you confuse what you choose to eat!
There was only a small working staff but they are very prompt and attentive.
The staff was very proactive while the Owner family themself available on site most of the time. All staff but the owner especially was very polite, kind, lovable, and own all the nice characteristics.
On behalf of my family, many thanks to you and your staff, we will stay here again and infinitely recommend...
