Plaj Hotel in Cirali

This was our third visit to Çıralı. We stayed at Plaj Hotel for 6 nights in a bungalow for the first time, based on Google reviews.

Breakfast and food:

Standard breakfast. Homemade jams are delicious. They also provide a different pastry every day. They prepare lunch and dinner if you order. Neither à la carte nor fixed menu is available.

Rooms, cleaning, hygiene:

The rooms are clean, with bed linen and towels changed every two days.

Environment, location, sea:

The bungalows are located in a lush orange grove. There is plenty of greenery. It takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the beach by crossing the road. There are sunbeds and 5 umbrellas belonging to the hotel. Sometimes people from outside the hotel come and use them, but we didn't have any problems. Sea temperature during our stay was around 29C, too warm for me.

Employees' approach:

Orbay and Yasin are very friendly and helpful people. They didn't hesitate to do whatever we asked.

The lady in charge of the business, on the other hand, is more focused on money. She requests a down payment upon arrival at the hotel, taking it as a guarantee. It is not pleasant to have this approach in a telephone reservation, even though you can sometimes pay at the checkout on online reservation sites.

On the second day, she came to me while I was sitting in the garden, asked me how I was doing and if I had any requests, and reminded me of the payment. When I told her that we might have to leave early due to my wife's sudden illness, her face fell. Instead of saying "get well soon", she asked us to notify her in such a case beforehand. During the rest of the time, she didn't ask if we had any needs other than saying "good morning, how are you" in the morning. I don't know what would have happened if we had paid for the entire accommodation and had to leave early.

In conclusion, this approach unfortunately overshadowed the other positive aspects I mentioned.

Çıralı is a quiet and beautiful place with many accommodation options. We will come back to Çıralı next year, but we will stay in a different place."

Summary:
We generally liked their stay at Plaj Hotel, but had some negative feedback about the business manager's approach. We found the manager to be too focused on money and not very friendly or helpful. We also found it strange that the manager asked for a down payment upon arrival, even though they could have paid at the checkout on an online reservation site.

Absolute Crooks. Took our money when we booked online and refused to give us a Room despite us booking a week in advance. We had to sleep in the Car as a family. Shocking hotel management.
