Traditional Midiyat konak famous in Turkiye due to a tv drama series filmed in the premises. Located in the old part of town be aware of the very narrow streets if you come by car. Good thing they have a small parking lot in front of the konak. Rooms are all different sizes and shapes fairly clean although bathrooms are small. Good for one night stay and the experience! TVs are for decoration only! No breakfast available! This is a first in Turkiye, never stayed at a property which doesn't serve at least something for breakfast! And they don't tell you that when you make the reservation! Kudos to Mustafa the young lad who's in charge in the evening! He's very helpful!

We chose this boutique hotel for our stop in Midyat on our GAP tour. The rooms are a bit small, but that's normal for places like this. It has an authentic ambiance because it's an original stone mansion. It was a clean and tidy hotel. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Midyat center. There is parking. The breakfast was also good. The view from the top floor of the mansion is beautiful. I just want to say this as a criticism: three friends paid a total of 13,000 TL for one night (5000 TL for one room, 4000 TL for the other two). They charged us 300 TL for two Turkish coffees after breakfast. This is really not good business practice. My problem isn't the coffee money, but the hospitality of the local people, the understanding of treating guests not just as customers. You don't charge your guests for coffee. No offense intended. And I didn't give a bad rating in this criticism. I mean, I'm not saying the hotel is bad just because I was angry. But charging money for things like water and coffee is unacceptable for businesses like this...

Simpatico place in quiet area of the city. Clean rooms, but in the garden have coffee bar and was noisy during the evening.
Second - they don’t prepare breakfast on place - bringing food from another sister hotel at 600 m from them or kindly asked you to go there for breakfast, which was not so convincing

You pay double for the visual aesthetics... For the same price (100€) you can stay in a 5 star hotel. The hotel and the rooms look nice but that’s it. No soundproofing, so you can hear every word from outside in the yard and the music played until midnight. Service was only mediocre. Unfortunately the whole area where the hotel is located smelled like sewage.

Located in the old city, the building is well maintained, keeping to the original feature's as much as possible.
Only breakfast is served but that's fine as there is plenty around to stop for coffee/ tea and food.
Beautiful old city which is a pleasant walk around. Defo worth an over night stay to see the city at night. Lovely staff and lovely stay.

Everything was very nice, the hotel, the staff, everyone was very nice. The mansion is very clean and quiet. I prefer 100%. More specifically, Mr. Şemus is very gracious and very nice. The happiness of the customer is very important to him and he is a very sympathetic person. Many thanks to him for his interest.

I came went here with my friends. We have had an excellent experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel was reasonably priced for the service we received. Erol bey was excellent at meeting all our needs and went out of his way to make us feel at home. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel if I come back.
