Kasr-i Nehroz in Midyat

According to booking website they had several rooms available. Upon arrival they Said they where full but offcourse the hotel was almost empty. The price went up etc etc. Just look for other options this Place is not clear

I was deeply disappointed by the reception I received from the front desk staff. Returning to my hometown, I wanted to visit this hotel and enjoy a drink there—especially since the establishment once belonged to my family. Unfortunately, my request was denied. I never would have imagined such a cold and disheartening experience. It's all the more upsetting considering that it's usually possible to enjoy a drink freely in any hotel. Fortunately, our stay at Kazr Mesopotamia more than made up for it: we met wonderful people there who helped us forget this unfortunate incident.

We had a reservation at this hotel from September 21 to 24 for a group of five for two rooms through a family friend .I had two brothers that had stayed at this hotel previously,and they had good memories,also I would consider hotel owners family a household name. We checked into the hotel the first day and went around town for sightseeing and came back after 10:30 pm.The air conditioners for both rooms weren't working and it was too hot also there were lots of mosquitoes , It was a terrible night.In the morning I called the service and a guy came to check,he said he would get a technician and we went around town thinking the problem would be solved. .We came back at night the AC's for both room were still not working.I asked the guy to give us another rooms with working air conditioners. He called some people and told him the problem and person on the other line told the employee that he can't change the rooms and said that rooms were not the same categories my rooms were a higher category.I told him that doesn't matter all I needed was room with working air conditioner.He said we should stay at same rooms one more night .I told him I can't and wanted to leave he said it's up to us .Even thought we stayed only one night they charged us two full nights and said we passed check out time. We left the hotel and looked to find another one with two rooms for two nights, and find another hotel. It might be a good hotel and I am not comfortable writing this because of our mutual friend but we had a terrible experience.

The hotel it is very beautiful but the management and service is a huge disaster. Breakfast, even if you order the previous day for one time, it is always late, very late. Many days a week there is live music, so it is very noisy till 12 o'clock, and it is impossible to sleep. It is not normal that a hotel becomes a club. And one of the times I came, the a/c didn't work. It is a pity that such a nice hotel is runned in such a bad way. Horrible.

I was satisfied with the service in the previous visits, however, for the last two times I had to struggle for sleeping without air-conditioning, although I changed the room, the conditioning system was the same.
It's very hot in summer, and without a good sleep it's not a joyful experience.
Another thing, a cup of coffee during breakfast is an extra? Really?
