We would happily stay back here while visiting Anchorage. Us adults wish the bar lights would dim in the evening, however. 😊
**make sure to read the tv monitors in the “re-up” station for breakfast; that’s where it displays hot & ready type options.
**bathroom doors in the hotel rooms are quite thin and on rollers, felt like they don’t offer that privacy you might want.
We did get random whiffs of an odor and we were not sure where it was coming from.
Enjoyed the pool and hot tub 9-11 pm is for adults only.
Full transparency, this was our second stay in about 3 months. The first visit was great. There were no complaints. The room was clean, service was good, and the pool/spa was good.
Our stay this weekend. We planned this trip to Anchorage for multiple reasons. The biggest reason was to let the kids play in the pool while my husband and I could relax in the spa. The stay started out smooth but quickly went south.
To keep the review simple:
- Pool and spa: Dirty and gross water. No towels and unkept area. The staff did walk by but did not address the issues.
- Hotel room: Dirty hand towel with make-up. Only 2 towels. No shower soap or shampoo. No coffee or water.
- Service: Had to go to front desk for towels and coffee. Breakfast area didn't open for breakfast.
- Game area: Was taken over by a group of men for hours and at least 1 was passed out sleeping on the couches.
The room and hotel are okay, clean and sanitary, and the facilities are relatively new. Overall, it is recommended.
