Lovely Hotel great spot to be in the center of Anchorage and is close to the freeway, just be careful parking is not attached, the staff early early Feb 14th was so helpful lovely and kind 3 girls(posted their names on the yelp review)

Everything was good, close to almost everything, but not parking lots, for a good hotel without parking is not good. You have to pay 25 dollars a day for a private parking space.

Our experience with Renz was amazing! We went to the lounge every morning and he knew my husband likes strawberries- even though not out one morning, he brought him a small bowl. He is friendly and so very helpful- looked forward to see him every morning.

Room choice was flexible, staff was courteous and proactive, very comfortable and family friendly, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again.

Good centralized location, rooms were clean, close walking to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Kids liked the pool, but that room could use a little sound deadening material in there. The echo is a lot if there are a handful of kids in there. Renz in the lounge was very hospitable.

Quick stay It was a quick stop over for a longer trip. Was only there for about 12 hours but we were very comfortable.

The bed was amazingly comfort. I wish I knew the brand and type of this bed. Just what I want for my home. Slept like a baby. However, the pillows were terrible. Barely called a pillow.

Our stay here was very good. Our first nights stay in Anchorage was extremely disappointing at a hotel next to the train station. If it was not for proximity to the early start to arrive at the train in the morning we would have immediately moved to the Sheraton which was much more pleasant for two additional nights in the city.

Room was very clean, and everything was functioning well. The bar downstairs has excellent beer.

Great room and great location, the only thing is that on the first day we are here, they refused to provided breakfast even that we clearly have breakfast included for our reservation, and this lady server at the dining area has a very bad attitude. But the manager gets back to us and offered compensation the next day so we were satisfied overall.

The room was clean and quite spacious, with a small living room, which was very convenient. The facilities were also good, the gym was excellent, and the breakfast was decent. However, I don't know why, even though I had already paid through Ctrip, the hotel charged me again when collecting my deposit. Fortunately, I discovered the problem later, and Ctrip resolved it for me. Overall, I'm satisfied

Housekeepers are very nice and trustworthy. There is a lot of construction going on in the building, but it's going to be better when it's done.

This hotel was wonderful! They took dozens of us in last minute when a flight cancelled, fed us pizza at midnight or so after getting there because we were all starving, and kept some great company as we were there for the next day. If I ever go back to Anchorage, I am going to stay there again. This is a locally-owned hotel and the husband and wife who run it are great people.

Place is comfortable, clean and not fancy. Not a bad place to stay. If you are used to regular fancy hotels, stay elsewhere. However if you like a bit more character, but still good, give this place a try. :)

This was the second time we’ve stayed here and we’ll definitely return. We really appreciated a delicious meal at the restaurant after a long day of traveling we didn’t feel like going out for dinner. Soaking in the hot tub was also an added benefit. The breakfast buffet was very good with a nice variety.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was very nice. The people were nice and the service was good. The breakfast was just so-so. It was edible but there wasn't much. I had a very happy stay. I hope you can enjoy your stay too. I really can't write anymore.

The room looked very clean and comfortable, but we were bitten and found bed bugs on the second day. It seemed that they had been cleaned before but they kept coming back. The front desk immediately changed the room. Thank you very much! It is a relatively new hotel in the city. It felt relatively quiet after staying for three days. The service staff was very friendly and provided a lot of travel suggestions. Recommended.

To be fair, this hotel is only open during “tourist season”, not year round…. That being said, this is a good place to sleep for the night, and move on. Sleep, shower, get free muffins and oranges, and move on.

Our stay in overall was good. Only problem was handicap shower screw cover was loose and it was put back in its place by us.

Had a wonderful stay of roughly 10 days at the Hilton Garden Inn in Anchorage, Alaska. Nice room, bedding, & pillows. Helpful staff. Great parking.

The entry was warm and friendly. The staff were attentive and very nice. We were glad we could have our pup with us. The room was very clean and quiet.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The service for breakfast was great. There was an upgrade and new tv installed in the room while we were there. There was automatic deactivation of all personal accounts on the tv at time of check-out which was nice.

The breakfast menu was great. We stayed there last year and was so happy to see the same staff. I wrote a review then and talked highly of all of them and It's still the same. Like I said before, these folks should get a raise. We'll always stay there and it's because of the staff.

I stay at the Coast Inn at Lake Hood at least twice a year. They have good prices plus I like the restaurant, bar and airport shuttle. The staff is always helpful and happy to see me. This last stay wasn't good at all, though. The room (#146) was extremely noisy and I couldn't sleep much at all. The heater clanked loudly every time it came on. And I think the refrigerator was making weird noises too...

The rooms are quiet, appear clean but smell musty. Check in and out was easy. We had a late flight, and they stored our bags until we departed. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and provides shuttle service to the airport. However, it is not convenient to the train station nor downtown, which requires Uber/Taxi at $25+ per trip.

No elevator be prepared to haul your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. They did offer to get someone to help but there were 7 of us and it was late, just wanted to get to our rooms. Buffet was $22 for a regular hotel breakfast. Eat in the restaurant. Better food and pricing

The Coast Hotel is very conveniently located near the airport. Shuttle service is available if you need it. They have freezers and will store your boxes of frozen fish. The restaurant is pretty good with enough variety and a friendly staff. The downside is, the rooms are pretty dated and there is no elevator. We would stay here again.

This pleasant hotel provided a relaxing escape after we checked out of an Anchorage hotel due to railroad noise. The seaplanes here were quiet by comparison! Very comfortable room and friendly staff. Food in Pipers Restaurant is good, but evening dining is seriously understaffed leading to long waits for food.

It’s a solid basic hotel and a bit “dated”, but he location is right near the airport and it has a nice little restaurant and bar that is really appealing when you arrive late in the day or have an early flight. Quiet and comfy but no hot water for the second time in two months

I stay here all the time and frequently have to bring issues up to the cleaning staff because areas of the room have definitely not been sanitized or cleaned since my last visit. I can say this with 100% accuracy because the same issues have not been addressed over the short time between my stays. Other than that though...

Booked and paid in full online. They have our credit card on file. Didn’t expect they want to charge extra money for room deposit. No problem we can handle the additional payment except Their machine didn’t work scanning my Apple Pay. The older lady was rude and told us we couldn’t stay. That was not our fault. It really hurts! they should fix their machine problem first rather than blaming customer...

Tofi checked us in and also out. She made us feel at home and like we could ask for anything we needed. Very kind. The maids were also very helpful and pleasant.

Room was clean. Staff was nice. There was a miscommunication 12/15 with house keeping and they thought I was checking out. They took my sodas out of the fridge and I didn’t realize until later when I got back to my room.

We were able to check in easily. However, the room I had booked they were out of, so I had a different room, no extra cost. There was also a deposit that was not mentioned when booking online.

The room was quite adequate and clean. However, we were promised a shuttle to the airport but the next morning were told there was no room for us so we called uber. A bit unsettling since we needed to be at the airport for a very early flight

I was quite scared when I checked in on the first day because I saw the reviews online were not very good and it was indeed a bit noisy when I went to sleep at night. When I checked out, I found that the service staff were very thoughtful and patient, breaking the traditional view. In the end, I suggest that the homeless people around be cleared, otherwise it will affect my opinion of the hotel.

The location is OK, the service is average, the hygiene is not very good, there are homeless people camping outside the window, the train whistle is very loud at night and affects the sleep, which is a bit different from the price.

Our room was clean but it had a strange smell to it. I really like that the bathroom walls were painted a brighter color; it made seeing easier.

We stayed 2 nights a week apart. 2nd stay was better than the 1st. 1st night there was hair in the tub and room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. 2nd stay was cleaner, but smelled like that powder you sprinkle on carpets. Rooms were a bit dated; but condition was OK. stove and fridge were convenient to have and price was fair. Desk staff were friendly and helpful.
