The location is great. It's in a plaza across from a large pet store. Parking is free. The hotel is also relatively new. The suite we booked didn't seem to be available, so we were given two single rooms instead. They were also quite good. The front desk was friendly and provided information on the Northern Lights. The room was old but very well kept, cozy, warm, and extremely clean. No bad smells and not musty at all. the customer service was wonderful, and when our tire went flat and we had to stay longer than expected, they responded with kindness. For being an inn, it met and surpassed our expectations.

Clean, friendly place, everyone is accommodating and friendly—lots of breakfast choices. Shuttling to and fro is a breeze with friendly drivers. When I need to come to Fairbanks, Golden North Inn is my first choice.

The hotel is kind of old but totally functional. I like the fact that it has a separate living area. Staff were very good. They delivered us to the airport and picked us up from the airport. Breakfast was also good.

We needed to make a last minute booking due to cancelled flight in the middle of the night; Carlos was at the airport to pick us up within 15 minutes of our booking, and we got upgraded room as well. For a "breakfast in the lobby" the abundance, variety, and healthy options was incredible. Although the Inn is older, would recommend due to cleanliness, and service.

Staff was helpful upon check-in. Property itself needs a little TLC. Was given a room on the second floor. Room was clean and spacious. Multiple doors on that level were left cracked open which I found odd.

The location is good and you can reach the city center on foot. Although the facilities are old and there is a strong smell, the breakfast is too simple. In such a remote place, it is cost-effective to have such a hotel.

The hotel was in a sketchy part of town. It was right next to either the projects or apartments. Across the road was a donation bin with a dilapidated building. There were a couple homeless people in the parking lot and one guy on an electric unicycle. He flew in front of the car, we almost hit him and he flipped us the bird. This hotel is a three-star express hotel in China. The breakfast is simple and unpalatable. The service attitude is good. It is not recommended.

It was ok for only 1 night. The bed was comfortable. Not bad price. Old building.
