Motel 6 Phoenix - Northern Avenue in Phoenix

Stayed at this location last week and woke up to bed bug bites. Went down to the front desk and they did not compensate me for my room nor apologized about it. The front desk was extremely rude even at check in had me standing there for a good 7-10 minutes before even acknowledging me while they were counting their drawers and finishing their shift change. I stayed at other locations previously and never had bad service nor bugs but this place was filthy. I showed them the visible fresh bites and tried to get in touch with corporate nothing has been done about it so unless you want to pay for bugs do not stay here. Even the super 8 next door is better than here.

On Nov 7, during the middle of my fully paid stay, the receptionist kicked me out in the evening because a room key "bounced" on the counter. (My hands were full with three heavy bags).  She rapidly became more and more rude with little to no provocation. I was shocked while she rashly locked, and checked me out of the room. All this rapidly happened in a couple of minutes.  She did this without thinking about my possessions still in the room. After reminding her that my bags were still in my room, she had a security guard (he was quite nice) escort me like a criminal to remove my possessions.  I never swore, I never yelled but I was becoming more and more upset with how bizarrely, severely and rudely I was being treated. The toll free number Motel 6 customer help was unable to provide help and shared that anyone from hotel 6 can remove a guest without cause.  After to a long day of work, the distress of dealing with rash unpredictable behavior from Motel 6 employee, and the additional time scrambling to locate a new location is the last thing you want at the end of a day. They have lost a quiet, clean, paying hotel guest.

I encourage Motel 6 check the mental stability of the receptionist at their Northern Avenue property so as to further avoid losing quality paying guests.
