Days Inn by Wyndham Airport - Phoenix in Phoenix

Nite staff manager carries a hard chip on her her shoulder over the local "talent" that loiter in the area. And instead of dealing with the LOCAL problem she has compromised the integrity of the hotels service to its patrons in such that my family and I were forced to checkout without ever even sitting on a bed after asking a person where we could get something to drink and eat from what the hotel says was one of those girls and that talking to ANYONE outside was strictly prohibitted?

This Hotel is an absolute dump. Pics on website are nothing like the actual Hotel. Dirty sheets, horrible location. We felt safer in Mexico than we did here. Never stay at this Hotel.

The hotel room itself was nice except the shower made a horrible squealing noise. The Gentleman who was the manager at the front desk was extremely rude and standoffish. He basically treated us like we were a inconvenience to him. The whole staff were very incompetent and made the stay very unpleasant. The hotel grounds was dirty & trashy making it less than aesthetically pleasing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE TO ANYONE YOUR WASTING YOUR MONEY!!!!! If I could I would put 0 out of 5 stars for sure...

Tonight we checked into the Days Inn and when we got to the room, we were getting ready for bed. I was checking the bed for bed bugs and didn't see any indication of bed bugs. I pull down the bed cover and see stains on the blanket. I'm disgusted with that and pull those off the bed, and then pull down the flat sheet. I found a used paper towel on the bed. I called the front office and try to talk to Marisa who is the person at the front desk for the night. She has an accent a Ukrainian accent and all of a sudden cannot understand English while I am telling her what the condition of the sheets are. I finally get frustrated trying to speak with her and hand the phone to my husband. Again she's saying that she can't understand English. He finally tells her that we need clean sheets. She said she can't do that but we can get another room or check out. There was no way I was going to try another room. Who's to say that those sheets are clean. I left. The hotels located in a bad part of town and I do not recommend this location to anyone, including my worst enemies if I had any. Poor service, filthy sheets. One more thing, as my family came to pick me up, there was a prostitute at the front of the building!
