Motel 6 Tucson Airport in Tucson

Stopped in late while driving thru wish I would have kept driving further up the road. None of the outside doors locked to keep transients out and the one that did lock had a big rock propping it open.

The sheets looked like they hadn't been washed in some time luckily I was moving so I had my bedding with me to use.

Didn't want to use the shower the next morning because it looked like it hadn't every been cleaned or introduced to bleach since it was installed in the room.

Motel 6 may want to look at removing their brand name from this property. Or maybe that is why they say "we'll leave the light on for you" cause they need to in order for you to feel somewhat secure. Or is it because there are a bunch of users staying there and are up throughout the night ? with their lights on and TV's/Music cranked up loud.

The night employee was a young gentleman that was very friendly and courteous. He was probably the best part of the property. Glad they do invest in their employees. Hope to see some reinvestment into the property itself and get new sheets and actually have them changed and washed daily. Also I'm sure you can hire an outside cleaning company to clean the bathrooms down as I don't think the housekeeping department is willing to do that it seems.

Room was nice size. Sheets dirty.
Alot of druggie people hanging around outside in parking lot. Was kind of scared to stay there. We were moving across several states with our dog & pulling a trailer with our belongings. I was scared for our belongings. I've never felt scared at a motel 6 before. In the past year I've probably stayed at 10 different ones. I would avoid this one.

Picked this out of the other motels in the area since I'd heard Motel 6's have all been undergoing renovations to make them "modernized". While the room did look clean and like it was freshly painted, our short stay was pretty terrible. We got in late like 9:30pm and had to speak to the office staff through a window while we stood outside in the cold. The parking lot did not look safe at all especially this late at night so we were already worried and looking over our shoulder. In the room, we soon realized the patio door didn't seem to be sealed fully or something? It was very loud in the room as though the door wasn't closed to the patio so we could hear the cars on the highway all night. I barely slept at all from the noise. Then there was the freezing temperatures again likely due to the balcony door not fully sealed and protected. I'm not sure these renovations are being equally applied across all motel 6's. So if you just need a place indoors for a short amount of time book here. If you actually need sleep and rest and recuperation, I'd pass.
