Outbound Mammoth in Mammoth Lakes

We love staying here and will continue to stay here. This was our first time in a cabin. The cabin itself was great! Very cofrtable and cozy. The only reason I have only 2 stars is that the hand railing broke when it was needed most. We were careful to step cautiously in the steps since they were covered in ice. But on slip led me to a fall where I grabbed the railing to stop the fall. Instead the railing came off in my hands and then to add insult to injury, I landed on the broken railing. Looking at how it was attached explained why it broke. Very cheap small nails, like it was for decoration and not function.

After I reported it they were quick to take the broken railing away and later fix it.

Extremely disappointed with the services at this hotel.
The wine bar was closed, the hot springs were closed, the hotel bar was closed, the arcade was closed... in short, all the services were closed! I chose this hotel precisely for these services, but in the end, I only got a room... I would have been better off staying in a motel! Hotel prices, motel service.
No compensation whatsoever!! That's an expensive room.

Furthermore, the bath towels weren't changed between the two nights.
