Not impressed Parking was good, room not very clean floors were sticky not very clean, bed seamed old very squeaky every time you move.

A/C unit barely operable, no ability to hold bags before 3:00 checkin.

Pay what you get The hotel is in a rough part of town and of course someone was knocking on a door loudly at 1:30AM. This type of hotel has its place but if you are traveling to Oxnard for the national park stay somewhere safer and nicer.

Comfortable place Could use some minor repairs but otherwise totally fine. After all the negative reviews I was concerned. No need, we’d stay here again easily.

Overall, it offered everything I was looking for at a reasonable price- full kitchen with full size fridge and cook top stove w/oven, microwave and sink. The AC worked well and it was an 8min walk from the conference I was attending. The hotel does ask for a $50 cash deposit on top of your lodging fee. As far as cleanliness in the room, it could have been cleaner, but the bed was comfortable and water...

You get what you pay for. No ice machine, no hangers. I get it its cheap, but no ice machine? And hotel description said "pool bar". Beware no pool and no bar.

it's a good motel, i have been here for 4 weeks,and no problems nice and quiet at nights,everything works in the rooms,would i stay here again yes i would.

They do all the cleaning themselves for the entire motel that's alot of work. They offered extra supplies as needed. The inside could use updating the bathroom is unique style. They do there best to keep up with needs being they are the only ones operating everything.

A friendly and close all the placed s you need to go , and freeway real close , if you like old time rooms very clean , you'll love the Flamingo's Motel

In the years I’ve been going there I’ve never been disrespected and the rooms have been clean.

My stay was worth the money. Considering.the location is in an area that is now a much safer place to live in. I was able to relax and. enjoy my stay. The room was clean and had a good size tv. I didn't expect it would. I have no reason to stay at another motel if I am ever in that area again.

Great staff, clean rooms the lady doing breakfast service was amazing.

The room was amazing and the space was incredible but we did ask for house keeping and they never came also for two day there was no hot water for us to take a shower. They say they will work on it but it was not fix the next day when we left. It was really disappointing because you expect to take a shower for a long travel back home.

The room really had a strong oder of some fragence that made you feel it was covering up a smell. Didn't like that.

By far the entire staff made our stay so special! Sara, Jamie, Bernadette and all the other staff members we had contact with were so very friendly, courteous and helpful. They listened to our concerns and needs and took care of them with a smile. The breakfast was really delicious and the dining room was clean and neat. The staff cooked our waffles for us and bused or table when we finished...

The room was very clean, the staff were all very friendly, and the hotel itself was quiet. It was a very peaceful trip and I definitely enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning and the 24/7 coffee.

First time staying at the Ventura location. I noticed there were issues with the bathroom's sink, as the water was going down the drain. I spoke to the front desk, I believe her name was Sarah, she was amazing as she immediately said she would have maintenance take a look, but she switched us to a different room instead to avoid any inconvenience. I've stayed at this hotel many times, and overall the service is very polite, the hotel is very clean and the decor is excellent, the parking lot is large, and the daily parking fee is reasonable. The only downside is that there's no breakfast buffet. It would definitely be more popular if the room rate included breakfast.

Matt at the front desk made our vacation stay enjoyable with his great customer service. My family had a great time, location is great to venture around the surrounding cities. Rooms could use some updating and maybe just a bit cleaner. The buffet is definitely NOT worth it...you've been warned, for the price it does not justify the food options.

The Annual Dinner meeting for 200 guests was very well arranged except for the sound system l. We couldn't understand the speakers. The food was good for hotel food and the service unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend that we return here next year.

It was clean , but kitchen had zero amenities. One bed was kinda uncomfortable the other was fine. Staff was fine. Location good. Shower so so.

The rooms were spotless and super spacious! The stand up shower in the bathroom is very nice with plenty of water pressure. Overall we enjoying staying at this spot for the accessibility to local shops and cleanliness.

Our stay was very enjoyable. From the front door to the kitchen it was clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order and the location is prime for walking around.

From the front deak to the quietness and the clean room, it was all outstanding. I asked the guy to show me other rooms for when i take my kids and he was happy to do so and even showed me one with a Jacuzzi for when me and my wife book again, because we are. Thank you for everything.

Really great room, huge king size bed, jacuzzi tub and a kitchen! Clean and quiet..Alsobtgevorice fir one night is very reasonable.

I LOVE this motel!!! The staff are always friendly, the rooms are absolutely HUGE and the beds are super comfortable. It's close to all kinds of entertainment downtown and close to the beach and shopping also. The rooms have full kitchens with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and some dishes and pans. The room was clean, and new towels were provided on our second day without asking. You could hear the street noise from the room, but I actually enjoy the hum so I slept great. Very comfy bed and pillows, FANTASTIC water pressure - it was like getting a massage which rocked after a long day of hiking on Channel Islands.

We stayed for a night. It suited our purpose just fine. Its an old motel, nothing fancy. The rooms appear to have been updated. Our room was clean with nice size tv. We did not venture much around the area, but looked safe enough and not far from the beach. We took reviewers advice and got take out from the Thai restaurant across the steeet. It was very good.

We were pleasantly surprise at how nice our room was. The beds were comfortable. It was so nice to have a full kitchen. I wasn't expecting that but next time We stay I will take advantage of it. We will be staying here again soon.

Room was clean & comfortable, staff was courteous, & check-in/checkout was easy. Would stay again.

Overall, a nice stay. Check in at desk was easy and service great. As one other person mentioned, there was a pretty powerful odor of some sort of disinfectant. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Water in shower was powerful and very hot, excellent for me. Everything was quiet. No noise from other tenants. My room faced the road so some road noise. Ordered dinner from Moons Thai across the street...

24 hr trip for nephew's football game. Only real complaint is that the floors were not swept at all. Room's floor was covered in crumbs and other debris. The rest of the room was clean and served its purpose for one night.

Clean all around, updated room and bathroom, great location, walking distance to the beach, lots of restaurants, the pier and downtown. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They serve a variety of hot, freshly made choices, delicious burritos, including fresh fruit ( watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, bananas), bagels, toast, waffles....

The front desk was nice and check in was really simple. Parking was easy and assessable. The hotel was also offering complementary snacks, we did not have any, but I thought that was nice. Great option to stay local to ventura. The drive to santa barbara was approximately 30mins. Quiet and clean hotel, had no issues with anything. The staff was great and extremely friendly.

Everything was maybe just ever so slightly above average. The breakfast staff were super and it was nice to have a hot food buffet with chilaquiles no less. Paid for a view that was essentially non existent so don’t bother. The fireolace was cool but not visible from lounge areas so that made no sense. That said the room and bathroom with two sinks was awesome! Parking easy and secure. Always...

This is always our preferred hotel. Always clean, great location, staff is super friendly. Safe to walk. Perfect date night stay.

One of our favorite hotels in area. Armanzi is always so clean , staff us friendly at check in and great value breakfast!!

Great staff, room was clean. Was hoping for a tub, but just had a shower. Great view and awesome restaurant across the street.

I was pleasantly surprised with a courtesy call from the staff. I also liked its "cottage" like atmosphere for more of a weekend getaway feel.

Lovely staff, very quiet and safe area. The cottage style rooms are very cute and well maintained. Bed was comfy as well.

The location is beautiful and very serene but the rooms are very run down and out of touch decor. This is my 2nd stay and again the fireplace did not work.staff is always pleasant and check in is a breeze

Room could have used a deep cleaning . Even the awning over the door was filled with spider webs . Closet door pole fell down and wasn’t secure.. the track of closet was filthy . My socks got so dirty from the floor .

Front desk person was very helpful and knowledgeable around the food options in the area
