I've stayed at this hotel many times, and overall the service is very polite, the hotel is very clean and the decor is excellent, the parking lot is large, and the daily parking fee is reasonable. The only downside is that there's no breakfast buffet. It would definitely be more popular if the room rate included breakfast.

Here for a weekend event. It's expensive to stay here guessing because the beach is 2 blocks away. I get it. But for the price and no free breakfast or free parking? Not good at all. The Hilton was similar price with a great and 3 times bigger buffet for free breakfast. $24 for breakfast buffet with nothing special. Get it together guys. Everyone wants free breakfast and free parking. That's a huge part of the experience at any stay.

They had a false alarm fire alarm go off in the middle of the night while I was dead asleep and couldn’t shut it off for 15 minutes. For the price they charge for rooms, the way they handled this situation was abysmal. Front desk hung up on me when I was trying to find out if I actually needed to get dressed and leave the room. My ears are still ringing the next morning.
Breakfast service was also lackluster and extremely slow.
I’d expect a stay like this at a motel 6 for a 1/3rd of the price.
Can’t recommend this place.

Mariotts are always a pleasure to stay at, and this one was special given its great location close to the beach. The rooms were premium, and had extremely well done interior decor. (For example, the curtains are so amazing that if you decide to take a mid-day nap, be well ensured that not an ounce of sunshine will trickle into your room)
The service was exceptional too - specially the order-in to your room service was very convenient!
Special shoutout to Colin V, whose service at breakfast was exceptionally warm!
Also, the following are not complaints but suggestions:
1) shower pressure can be improved
2) the couches at the restaurant are a little too low for the table (the silverish chairs are perfect, just for reference)

Matt at the front desk made our vacation stay enjoyable with his great customer service. My family had a great time, location is great to venture around the surrounding cities. Rooms could use some updating and maybe just a bit cleaner. The buffet is definitely NOT worth it...you've been warned, for the price it does not justify the food options.

The Annual Dinner meeting for 200 guests was very well arranged except for the sound system l. We couldn't understand the speakers. The food was good for hotel food and the service unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend that we return here next year.
