Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach by IHG in Panama City

Loved the room and the whole resort. I wish it would have been a longer stay. I recommend getting a top floor room.

Very dated, slimy floors outside the room, the advertised activities (movies by the pool) only happened one night, the TV barely worked and internet didn’t connect to my teens devices (which was fine with me but if it’s important for your teen then I’d try somewhere else)

The room we got was pretty good overall. Just a couple of things, like the door to the balcony was very hard to open and close. As well as the bathroom had a few ants near the sink counter.

Room was great and the view was amazing!
The View restaurant was not good!
I would stay here again. The pool was warm and clean. We got lucky during Christmas week with weather being in the 70’s

Beautiful unobstructed view of the beach. Clean property! Pools, water park and beach were all very easy to access and convenient to use.

The pools were gorgeous! Staff was friendly. Outside of the rambunctious clientele, our stay was great!

We have been coming here for over 25 years. Although the staff is always lovely, this time the room, despite saying it had been remodeled in 2022, was a bit shabby. The bottom of our socks were dark after walking on the laminate floor in the room. The elevators were grimey and the glass walls were filthy… not a good view as you head to your room. One elevator overlooked a junk pile of broken chairs and old buckets. Do not have full view elevator windows if that is the view you have representing your hotel. One of our favorite features, the waterfall at the pool, was not working the entire time we were there. Lastly, the breakfast Buffett was $42.00!!!! For breakfast? We still had a lovely time but thought these points were worth mentioning.

Room nice, clean. Housekeeping responsive quicky. Unfortunately, the pizza on resort (outdoor by bar) property few years back was delicious but this last visit (10/2025) their pizza was the worst pizza I ever had. New recipe, different ovens & chefs per pizza staff report when we inquired. Lyft transportation came super quick to resorts property and very cheap so very convenient to get around and do things. Front desk very nice. Down side was the property’s beautiful pool waterfall was never turned on the entire week we stayed and it was a very attractive display in the pool so disappointed. And there is no access to just go see the spa and services offered — it has locked doors and you can only make appt via telephone. We wanted to check out the atmosphere and spa facility before booking. So we didn’t book any services which was very disappointing. So 3 years ago we gave the resort a 9 out of 10 rating but this year, more like a “6-7”. All and all we would return but would inquire about if the pool waterfall was working. The biggest positive takeaway is always the balcony views (we always get high floor — above 10) and the beach views are breathtaking. Property landscaping prettier than the most of the other hotels along the beach — we would most likely return again!
