Hotels in Valdosta

sign says they are renovating . and there was obvious work being done in the room I stayed in.. but it wasn't quality work.. tile work was not even.. grout lines were all varied. tile height was not level.. paint job was a thin coat at best. the shower Nozzle in my room wasn't mounted to the wall had to hold it up to use it. bathroom floor was covered in construction grout debris not loose but just...

Hotel was remodeling. Room was ok for one night while traveling. We were placed in an old room, which needed some maintenance. There was only one nightstand table and the appliances were well used.

Ok for a mid-level hotel. No frills. Good stay if you're a family on a budget or just need a quick place to lay your head down for the night like I did. The bathroom was clean but no shower water pressure which was disappointing. The bed comforter had a stain on it and the bed was not comfortable. The room was clean overall. The staff was nice. Reasonably priced with a nice warm self-serve breakfast included. the room was clean and a reservation oops (my fault) was cleared up quickly at the desk to get the room we needed.

We were only supposed to stay one night but my Father ended up having to go to the emergency room and we had to stay a week longer. All of the staff were wonderful, asking about my Father's health every day. My sincerest gratitude to Steve the manager who took care of our every need? (also a big thank you to Kimberly the maid who recommended an excellent hair salon!!)

A basic, clean, comfortable , inexpensive room with breakfast is all we require when stopping for the night on long road trips. A perfect location close to the interstate with a good choice of restaurants & mall shopping within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel exceeded our expectations.
