Hotels in Kapalua

Rooms had some smell and are on the older side. Breakfast not really up to standard for top hotel, beach is far from hotel. Location is a bit far from everything. Hotel is a bit too bit. We had 2 rooms and each room was in another building. Not really convenient and they don’t have rooms close to each other.

I've been here many times, and it's still wonderful! However, it's a shame that the counter for Japanese people that used to be there is no longer there, but I still think this is the No. 1 hotel on Maui. There are very few photos of the hotel, but they are of the club lounge or the restaurant next to the golf course.

Staff was great and very responsive as we had broken hair dryer and leaking toilet with water on floor, both were fixed immediately and staff was great from front desk to cleaning, to sea house, wonderful stay

The property is nicely maintained with manicured lawns. The rooms are nicely appointed. The lanai has a nice recliner and table with a drying rack. We traveled from Oahu to spend a few days on Maui. I thought the resort was ok. It took around 45 minutes to get checked in, which was shocking. The room was outdated and had a smell to it. From the first moment we stepped out of our car at the Montage Kapalua Bay, we felt relaxed and pampered. The setting is beautiful, as are the resort facilities. The food at Cane and Canoe (both breakfast and dinner) was some of the best we have had at Hawaiian resorts. The spa and fitness facilities are well appointed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to returning

We stayed at 1205 in the unit 1 building. Most stunning views with a private grass yard elevated. We could see the beach at Kapalua bay at the left and out to Namalu bay to the right. The interior decor is beautiful too! This is our favorite location at the Montage!

The Montage Kapalua Bay was awesome. Our room accommodations were over the top. The Cane and Canoe restaurant was tremendous as well. The pool areas were clean and our every need was attended to. I will keep coming back yearly, no question!

Our trip was amazing. Everything from the people to the resort was top notch. We were blown away by the service. The staff was incredibly and the room was unreal.

This place was advertised as beachfront and I even paid extra since it was advertised as beachfront. The tiny glimpse of beach was from a window on the staircase and an obstructed view from the bedroom.

I had an ocean view villa and the view was stunning! I loved the fact that everything was so close. The washer and dryer in the villa was a plus. The villa was very clean and close to the rest of my family that was staying in a bay villa across the street (a 3 minute drive).

The location on Napili beach (swimming, snorkeling) is perfect. But Napili is far from everything on the island... The studio we rented was ok, but the price was way too high. The location was beautiful with stunning gardens. The staff was friendly, helpful and they made it one of the best experiences we’ve had at a resort. The room was clean and the kitchenette was perfect for a longer stay. I highly recommend this lovely, boutique hotel.

We had a great stay at Napili Sunset Beachfront Resort for our honeymoon. My husband and I stayed in a 1 bedroom with loft apartment. The room was very clean and comfortable, and you really can't beat the proximity to the beach. We went to Napili Plaza almost daily for food and essentials - the market nearby is great too. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again! Mahalo!

Really love this location. I definitely recommend. Plenty of space for activities in the room. Only problem I had was the air conditioning which was a basic window mounted unit. Comfortable condo with an amazing view! Beautiful landscaping, very peaceful, and the lounge chairs on the grassy area are clutch--the tide gets very high at that beach so having the grass so close to the ocean was awesome! Super close to walk to the Sea House restaurant and Honokeana Cove for some snorkeling with the turtles! Love love love!

We spent five nights in a classic studio and absolutely loved it! The complex is small with a private lawn overlooking the ocean, and fairly easy beach access in spite of the stairs being unavailable during our stay. We were on the lower level which made it easy to come and go. We had an almost private patio with the exception of people staying in two other ground floor units occasionally walking by...

Great staff/service, complete facilities (except pool), location is a bit far from the airport but we braved the almost 1.5hr back to the airport and honestly, it wasn't that bad - it's quite empty coming from North. Few options for restaurants so it's a good opportunity to cook! We'll come back here and book a car rental for sure.

We had an amazing stay at Hale Napili. The location is fantastic, nothing beats the views. The apartment had everything that’s needed for a relaxed stay. The kitchen is fully equiped. We will definitely book Hale Napili again on our next stay at Maui

Good amenities, good neighborhood. If you are willing to drive some distance then this place works great as you can walk to the Napili and Kapalua beaches.

The room was very spacious and welcoming. I was very happy with the amenities. There is complete kitchen, dish washer, washer dryer, refrigerator, dining table and sofa bed. HOWEVER, in my 6 days/5 night's stay nobody came to clean the room. I had to take the trashes out and sweep the floor as there was beach sand after coming from the beach. I had to do laundry on towels so we can have fresh ones...

This is a great stay on the usually outrageously priced west side of Maui! The kitchen had every amenity you could ask for, plus a washer/dryer in the room itself with complimentary detergent. The AC was not working so the room good too warm to sleep comfortably. The decor and furniture are also a bit dated.

Just about everything we needed was there. The in-room washer/ dryer was a bonus. Room for 4 with 2 full baths. Nice size room with fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The was also private parking which is a bonus in Kapalua. Would definitely stay there again.

They emailed asking for my eta and phone number to send me a text when unit was ready but no one ever texted or responded to my email follow up. I wouldn't have minded, but they offered this to me but then didn't uphold. Turns out they're not open on Tuesdays, so they have you use a courtesy phone on the wall, give you a code to get a key out of the box (where there are several other welcome envelopes...
