I've been here many times, and it's still wonderful! However, it's a shame that the counter for Japanese people that used to be there is no longer there, but I still think this is the No. 1 hotel on Maui. There are very few photos of the hotel, but they are of the club lounge or the restaurant next to the golf course.

My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was so wonderful, the food was amazing, and the view from our room was breathtaking. We loved the beautiful accommodations and well-appointed full kitchen! The beach front resort offers snorkeling on site, free beach chairs & towels and a nice variety of pools too! On site Sea House restaurant was amazing and staff was so friendly and helpful! Be sure to check out the stunning coastal walkway that begins at the edge of the resort! We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay here and I plan to return. The resort has nice amenities like insulated grocery bag and soft side cooler for guest use. We had an issue in our room and when they weren’t able to fix it they changed us to another room. Staff were friendly And management was wonderful to work with. There are two beach options in short walking distance.

It was fine overall but not the level of service and comfort I would expect from the price point. A beachfront resort with no watercraft available, even for a surcharge? The on-site restaurant closed entirely between happy hour and dinner? I expected more.

The Montage Kapalua Bay was awesome. Our room accommodations were over the top. The Cane and Canoe restaurant was tremendous as well. The pool areas were clean and our every need was attended to. I will keep coming back yearly, no question!

The resort was beautiful, well maintained and gorgeously landscaped. The motto of "you get what you pay for" held true... and it was worth every penny! Truth be told, the service was simply outstanding from check-in, to cleaning service, to food service, etc. Location in Kapalua is great for the coastal walk, near to Merriman's, etc., although Kapalua Bay leaves something to be desired... However...

The staff were great. The room was clean, nice and grounds well kept. I had a loud noise problem with my A/C, which they addressed. Would recommend requiring owners of the units to keep up on appliance maintenance or replacement.

Lovely hotel with several building surrounding pool. Direct access to a sheltered cove with good snorkeling and small waves. The room was very comfortable with a small kitchen area. We very much enjoyed our stay and will come back when we are in Maui again.

The property was just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and in good condition, but highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Napili Surf Beach Resort. The view from our room was unbeatable, having breakfast at the lanai was awesome. The sunsets on the beach were breathtakingly beautiful. The staff there is very friendly and nice, the atmosphere is very relaxed and good. We really liked that there was everything supplied in the kitchen, and even filtered water so we didn't have to go buy jugs of water...

Perfect peace and beauty! Our first time here and we’ll definitely be back. It was great having our own beach and snorkeling right there! And other great beaches close by too. The restaurant right next door, 5315 Kitchen, is really good. As is Merriman’s.

This place was advertised as beachfront and I even paid extra since it was advertised as beachfront. The tiny glimpse of beach was from a window on the staircase and an obstructed view from the bedroom.

I had an ocean view villa and the view was stunning! I loved the fact that everything was so close. The washer and dryer in the villa was a plus. The villa was very clean and close to the rest of my family that was staying in a bay villa across the street (a 3 minute drive).

Gorgeous property, the staff, beach, hiking close by, restaurants in area all were great. Room was spotless and we were able to check in early.

Everything about this property was amazing. We loved the stag and the facilities. The pools were amazing and easy beach access allowed you to be in the water in 5 minutes. There was a grocery store right across the street making it very easy to grab anything you may need. We did try the food trucks one time (average plate was $25 which got you food court quality and portion size at any mall.)

The view of the ocean was great and I was happy just to be there. It was old and a little poorly built, windows or doors were hard to open, etc. Some renovated parts were comfortable. The dryer was broken, which was inconvenient, but housekeeping provided new towels daily and offered to do laundry for free. Cooking utensils were very well stocked

Great staff/service, complete facilities (except pool), location is a bit far from the airport but we braved the almost 1.5hr back to the airport and honestly, it wasn't that bad - it's quite empty coming from North. Few options for restaurants so it's a good opportunity to cook! We'll come back here and book a car rental for sure.

The beach is stunning! Every staff member we interacted with was super nice, helpful and friendly! The room was very clean, we had multiple bath towels and beach towels were provided as well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can imagine -- they even had a blender so I was able to make my protein shakes every morning. Did I mention that the price was great too? Overall, 10/10 experience....

We have been going to the Hale Napili for years and it never gets old. The location is divine, the views spectacular, the grounds are lush, beautiful and well kept, and the rooms are comfortable and clean, but the best part is the staff who are so professional but kind and accommdating. Steps from one of the best beaches on the island, .5 a mile from great restaurants and a market. Close but far enough...

Proximity to beautiful Napilii Bay. Walking distance to another beach nearby and a few very good restaurants. Local vibe and friendly management.

We had a great stay at Napili Sunset Beachfront Resort for our honeymoon. My husband and I stayed in a 1 bedroom with loft apartment. The room was very clean and comfortable, and you really can't beat the proximity to the beach. We went to Napili Plaza almost daily for food and essentials - the market nearby is great too. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again! Mahalo!

Beach right across the road Private owned and rented through company. Nice pool. Right beside a coffee and sandwich place. A little farther from other food locations we went to. Fairly long drive to Road to Hanna and airport. Beach right across the street with snorkeling and turtles and not as rocky as other islands. Easy to get supplies from front desk. Full kitchen. Small a/c unit- a little louder...

Nice on beach location. Smaller resort with friendly staff. Kitchenettes well appointed and shared grill worked well. Excellent snorkeling directly off resort.

Really love this location. I definitely recommend. Plenty of space for activities in the room. Only problem I had was the air conditioning which was a basic window mounted unit. It got pretty hot in the day time. Night was fine. The one thing I really loved was how close to the beach it is. Less then a 5 minute walk and plenty of places to clean off. Comfortable condo with an amazing view! Beautiful landscaping, very peaceful, and the lounge chairs on the grassy area are clutch--the tide gets very high at that beach so having the grass so close to the ocean was awesome! Super close to walk to the Sea House restaurant and Honokeana Cove for some snorkeling with the turtles! Love love love!

The AC was not working so the room good too warm to sleep comfortably. The decor and furniture are also a bit dated.

Just about everything we needed was there. The in-room washer/ dryer was a bonus. Room for 4 with 2 full baths. Nice size room with fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The was also private parking which is a bonus in Kapalua. Would definitely stay there again.

They emailed asking for my eta and phone number to send me a text when unit was ready but no one ever texted or responded to my email follow up. I wouldn't have minded, but they offered this to me but then didn't uphold. Turns out they're not open on Tuesdays, so they have you use a courtesy phone on the wall, give you a code to get a key out of the box (where there are several other welcome envelopes...

Ive stayed at the Gardens four times now, but this time is the first time that my washroom has a lot of ants and bugs.

Wasn’t a very comfortable bed. We just needed a place to sleep, so it worked for that. Cable was out.
