I wish this hotel will care about even with small details because they are rated 5 star hotel so guests expectations are high and the amount of money that guests spent booking for this hotel is no joke. They should also have to make sure that the room is ready in terms of cleanliness and it’s amenities before their guests arrived. Our first few days in staying here was a disappointment. But I must commend the staffs for doing their best to make sure that we enjoy the rest of our stay. Overall, in my opinion there are other nicer hotels that I will spent my money on next time. To the Ritz-Carlton management, please make sure that all the amenities in your resort are clean and up keep. The ladies washroom close to Banyan restaurant was so stinky and the spiders and their webs are way too many that it seems like it never cleaned for a long time. It’s amusing for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel said it was a sea view room, but in fact it only had a partial sea view. The key point was that I was deliberately arranged to a connecting room (there was a door connecting to the next room) with very poor sound insulation! I was forced to change rooms at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night! The hotel did not apologize at all! The service of such a high-end hotel is so bad! I hope everyone can avoid it.

I've been here many times,
and it's still wonderful!
However, it's a shame that the counter for Japanese people that used to be there is no longer there,
but I still think this is the No. 1 hotel on Maui.
There are very few photos of the hotel,
but they are of the club lounge or the restaurant next to the golf course.

My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was so wonderful, the food was amazing, and the view from our room was breathtaking. We highly recommend booking a Club Lounge room. All of the employees and staff at this hotel are so kind and genuine, but we especially cherish our interactions with Laura in the Club Lounge. She truly made us feel special every single day. We are already planning our 3rd anniversary trip to this amazing resort!

BEWARE HIDDEN FEES! They force you to valet for $50 a night (don’t forget to tip). At the end they surprise you with a $40/night resort fee. This was one of my first adult vacations, so maybe I wasn’t prepared for the grand total of the trip. Hotels cost money but it was a bit over the top in my opinion. The hotel was nice, right on the beach which was nice. If you want an umbrella on the beach, be prepared to spend $150/ day and you must pre-book. Without an umbrella it can be pretty unbearable with the sun and heat. The staff was extremely kind and pleasant. The room was nice and quiet. There were a lot of families staying while we were here, but there are adult-only areas if you want to avoid kids. We ate at the restaurant near the resort once, then we ate elsewhere the rest of our trip. Better to eat local, the food was better and significantly cheaper.
