The townhouse is modern and has over 1,000 sq. ft of space. The garage is the lowest level; with the kitchen, dining area, living room, and half bath above. You will find the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms on the top floor. Please note, you must climb a flight of stairs between each level.

Only 1 mile from I-235, you have easy access to everything in the Des Moines metro. Including West Des Moines, eastern Polk County, and even Iowa State University in Ames. For those visiting from out of state, the townhouse is a short 8 minute drive from Des Moines International Airport.
Nearby Gray's Lake Park is a favorite for runners and cyclists. There you will find a connection to the most popular trails in central Iowa. Including the Meredith, Bill Riley, Neal Smith, and Des Moines River trails.
You are close to all of downtown Des Moines' major attractions. Wells Fargo Arena, Iowa State Fairgrounds, Drake University, Civic Center are within 10 minutes’ drive. Stop by the historic East Village to find wonderful local restaurants, boutiques, bars, and the Iowa State Capitol. The designer kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary adventures with plenty of seating inside and out. The whole family can enjoy our fenced in back yard with outdoor tables and play-set.
The space
Each bedroom has a nova foam mattress. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom has a king.
Two bedrooms are located upstairs. There is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main floor.
The basement is unfinished with a washer and dryer.
Laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, tissues, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided.
If you are traveling with small children we can provide a pack‘n play, high chair, children’s cups, dishes and utensils as well as toys.
If you are here in the winter, we are happy to come by and teach you how to use the gas fireplace as the older style can be confusing and we want you to be safe.
Guest access
During your stay you will have the entire house to yourself.
We will give you your own unique passcode for the Nest lock on the back door close to the garage.

There's a great unloading spot for shoes, coats, and bags right inside the door, and we were able to help our mother who uses a wheelchair 90% of the time into the house without taking too many stairs by using the garage. Luggage carriers as well to hold your bags. 12-inch Memory Foam mattresses with 3-inch memory foam toppers and blackout curtains in rooms for a comfortable stay. Duvet covers, extra pillows and blankets will make for a great night's sleep!
Updated full bath with travel toiletries and other extras in case you forgot yours!
The kitchen has all of the basics for a quick stay or a long-term stay! Coffee (both decaf and regular) and tea are provided with cream and sugar to start your days off right! We include things others may overlook like a toaster, crockpot, lots of cooking utensils, a tea kettle, hand mixer, seasonings, a blender, and so much more!

You have complete access to the entire home, garage, and backyard. The backyard space is the length of two lots and is all part of the house.
The driveway is quite long and could accommodate multiple vehicles. You may also park on the street in front of the property, but please follow all city parking rules.
