Where was this free breakfast located? We couldn't even get a free basic cup of coffee so we had to buy Starbucks. Staff said they only give free coffee up until a certain time and even then you had to ask for it. NOT IMPRESSED!

Spotless rooms, keurig coffee maker, part of the Des Moines skywalk system, easy and short walk to all attractions and parking ramp. We had an event at the Casey’s Event Center and all indoor walkway to event center about 10 minute walk.

Room was good. Really liked the bedding and pillows. Loud water/pipe noise in the early morning was the only compliant.

This was an awesome hotel! We asked to be at a higher floor and celebrating our anniversary- they had great accommodations and it was very clean

Excellent hotel to stay in for there’s Moines marathon! Half a mile from the start, very clean and very quiet.

This was a lovely hotel. The staff was very kind, our room was very clean and comfortable and the beds were very cozy too! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Hotel was good option for walking to Casey Center for Paul McCartney concert. Lobby was filled with concert goers end of evening, and it took hotel over 30 minutes to open stairwell. People were piled up in lobby, security was nowhere to be found, and front desk didn't have keys to open stairwell. People were tired, had to use bathroom, etc, and it took too long to accommodate the guests needs.

It was a nice motel, the parking was undergoing construction. So by the time we got our things packed up into the car, we didn't have time or the desire to walk back in for breakfast. Not the motels fault.

Our stay was great. Beds were comfortable. Only issues we had was the pool was so cold, our kids didn’t want to swim more than 15 minutes. One of our rooms didn’t have a microwave but they were adjoining so not a big deal for us.

No complimentary breakfast. Our room temp would not adjust to below 75, so was a hot night difficult to sleep. Parking was confusing due to construction. Otherwise stay was fine.

Near downtown, under construction but clean The room was clean and main areas we're too. Parking lot was closed so you had to park across the street in lot. The outside of the building seemed under construction or blocked off. Unfortunetly you could not get late check out unless you were a member, very unfortunate.

The entryway area was extremely clean when we arrived. The lady at the desk was courteous and knowledgeable. The breakfast was the standard motel breakfast. The desk help was mopping and vacuuming the entry way in the morning. Very nice.

I stay here everytime I go on a trip and it’s always clean and a great stay! The shuttle is a huge plus and being able to leave my car there is so convenient.

Its an old hotel trying to look modern. There were holes in the sheets, dents in the walls and some paint missing. The ottoman smelled like urine. I parked the car as my party checked in. Room & staff were amazing!!! However, this place charges $30 to let people use their parking garage! I parked in the parking garage outside of Deus Luxe and it was mayyyyybe a 5 minute walk & $10. They should really lower it to something that's not ridiculous for downtown Des Moines.

The floor under the sofa was dirty. The water pressure is low. No decaf coffee option. The staff does not acknowledge customers when they come in and out. Very odd.

The hotel was in a beautiful old building, but very clean and our room was spacious with tall windows. The breakfast was delicious and had a large variety of food and drinls to choose from. There is an extra fee for the parking garage, but because it was a Sunday parking on the street was free. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our short stay.

Location is great, staff was great, but the rooms were dated and I could have used a heads up that my key card was necessary to get out of the garage (I had already turned it in and had to go back and get it)

I think my only comment is the bartender could be friendlier . She acted inconvenienced everytime we ordered a drink. It was NYE and there was only one bartender and the place was packed all night, feel like it could have been staffed better for a night like NYE.

Unfortunately the entire pool area was “closed for maintenance” for most of my stay, so I didn’t get a chance to use it. Wow! Why can't these be everywhere!? From the shuttle that will come get you from the airport and take you back to the 24hr grocery/store to the 24hr recreational room, arcade, game room and fitness center with the coolest hangout spot, and an amazing pool open till 11pm, hottub, and sauna 😀, continental free breakfast with a huge spread... this place has it all! The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and kind. We slept well and it was a very convenient location. We had our little dog and he got along just great. We had some breakfast and it was really good!

Our room smelled like pizza when we first got into it. There were multiple surfaces in the room that had smears and grime. The bed seemed clean so we went ahead and stayed in it because we were so tired and didn’t want to deal with getting another room. Any other night this would have been unacceptable.

This hotel is in a great area, just a short walk away from some excellent restaurants and coffee shops and very close to the downtown area. The hotel feels very quiet and out-of-the-way though, not very noisy at all. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Gym Room and Training Areas: was reasonable. It could have been excellent with additional equipment available such as Pulley system or Rack Mounted Pulley system. Breakfast: breakfast hours of services were flexible for not early risers. Future improvement could include more menue with lots of fruits. Instant cofee makers were top of notch. I hope to see this again.

My family stayed in the suite, was a great room, fit us all well. Staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and loved the area, will definitely stay again.

Just across the street from the airport. Independent shuttle driver friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Likely won't stay here again because of "shady characters" hanging about. Guest running down the hall laughing at 4:30am, guests arguing outside our window later that morning.

It was adequate, the bed was a bed nothing special but a bed, the night check in was very friendly and helpful, and the morning clerk was more interested in watching Bollywood movies clips on his phone than us trying to checkout, but overall it was priced ok for a quick 1 night stay

This wasn’t the newest the nicest Motel 6 I’ve stayed at, but it was fine for the number of days I stayed. I stayed in the room a lot because of the weather. The staff were good about refilling my linens when I asked. I started in room 129, but it didn’t have a remote and apparently couldn’t be replaced. Then they moved me to 244, which smelled horribly and not on the 1st floor as I had requested....

We were treated well. The night manager, Brandon Rivers, was very amiable, friendly and helpful. The first room had a few problems, so Brandon gave us another one with no problem. The rooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay. Next time we are in DSM, we will definitely stay at hotel 6 again.
