Motel 6 Baton Rouge, LA - Southeast in Baton Rouge

I travel very often with my cat Bobby, so I need affordable, pet-friendly lodging. I'm a MyMotel6 member for this reason. This property isn't gorgeous from the outside but it's set back from a busy road, so it's not subject to loud traffic sounds or freeway noise as some properties are. And, I was able to check in at 2 p.m. without being demanded to pay an extra hourly fee as some other properties charge. My room was outstanding! It looked like it had been recently painted (in a professional manner, not in some sloppy way); the furniture was newer, the TV was clear and sharp and offered many channels, and the king bed was comfortable with a clean comforter and linens in good condition. I had a restful sleep. The bathroom was pristinely clean with a shiny white bathtub which had a recently installed marble shower installed, from what I could tell. My room had a microwave oven and refrigerator, but there's also an ice maker available at the motel if you need ice. The air conditioning in my room worked well--I set it a bit low to help me sleep. The front desk gentleman, a young main, was pleasant and accommodating. The coffee served, starting in the morning, was strong and energizing. I have no complaints because this property certainly met my needs and requirements for the price I wanted to pay. Thank you!

This may be the best experience at Motel 6 we’ve had thus in our cross country. We have stayed at Motel 6 hotels from Florida through Lafayette, Louisiana at this point most of them being pretty good just being the best and two of them being absolute garbage. We’re always grateful when we find a good one.

For a budget motel on game day, this place was great. Clean and recently updated rooms. I appreciated that it was hard flooring rather than carpet. Kiki at the front desk was a gem who helped us with early check-in. Pool looked clean and nice, although we didn't use it. The exterior of the building is worn and could use an update.
