Stayed here for a long weekend in the fall. The property is beautiful and well-kept inside and out. The location is convenient and the breakfast is delicious. We did not use the hot tub - the only bad thing I noticed was from others using it there was mold on the ceiling and mold on the window.

We love staying here! The ability to sit in the jacuzzi and relax while watching a movie is always a huge benefit, and is a great value for the price!

This was a nice place for the price! I can’t complain. Our room had a large jacuzzi tub and a fire place. Although the fireplace is electric and dim, it was nice. The jacuzzi tub easily fit two adults, but the water leaked and the temperature was tough to get right. Aside from this, I would have given 5 stars. The suite we had was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after a long day of travel.

We just booked our next Summer stay and I realized I never posted a review from our first visit! We had a wonderful stay last July. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Close enough to walk into town or they have a wonderful trolley. We can't wait for our next visit!

First time visit to The Dunes and it was great despite the blustery weather. The warm hospitality and little touches included a hot thermos of coffee, local pastries and The NY Times newspaper every morning was a joy to look forward to. Historic loveliness! Love all they’ve done to update the cottages. The new bicycles are so adorable and fun! We loved the breakfast baskets and looked forward to it each day. The grounds were so gorgeous and the sunset and sunrise took my breath away and even caused me to tear up from the overwhelming views.

No-Frills, clean establishment in a good location. Walking ( 20 minutes) distance to downtown. Great restaurants and breakfast spots close by.

The location was great with two breakfast options close by that were recommended by the staff. The accommodations were comfortable. A lamp with no switch needed to be unplugged to turn off and plugged in to turn on. The hanger on bathroom door was missing a screw so was useless.

Great little motel Great little motel, I was unsure after seeing some negative reviews but the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The pool was closed so cannot comment but location was fabulous and we enjoyed dinner at the lobster pound next door

The motel itself was very nice. Needs some updating in the rooms. Especially the bathroom.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, however was never in the office. Beds were not made for the second night, nor were the towels renewed

Hot tub awesome in December. We visited for Christmas By the Sea which was fun. Staff were amazing. The parade watch party was excellent. The only suggestion I would offer would be room darkening shades on the front of the building as the streetlights are very bright. Otherwise, I have always loved Abalonia.

Mark was the ultimate host. He was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable, had the lay of the land, and made sure we had plans for a wander that evening with the 'must sees' of Ogunquit. The room was clean, linens so soft and comfortable, we cant wait to visit again!
