We booked a getaway after Thanksgiving and left our grown kids at home never expecting the entire resort to be overrun with hockey families attending a jamboree. We tried for an early check in at 2:30pm but unfortunately could not get our room until after 5:00pm. We were told to go enjoy a drink and food at the Lantern. The room was clean, however the TV had lines in the screen and the shower was leaking out on the bathroom floor. Lunch and dinner was good. Breakfast was ok.All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was large and clean, which was a plus and the bed was comfortable. But...the room was dated and a bit shabby. Peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom; shower control was warped and wobbly; the toilet roll was placed in an inaccessible location; one of the white sheer curtains for the outside window was ripped/torn; and we had awful view out the window of the roof and venting system. Lovely, charming, and delightful seaside resort! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The weekend was bustling with a wedding, church group, art group, kids hockey teams…and the staff handled it all with such grace and professionalism. This was our 2nd stay. We stay here when visiting family in December. Hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom is spacious. Very easy to walk town.

The room was very clean and it was wonderful to have a restaurant onsite. It was only open for breakfast and lunch, but I had an excellent omlette. The staff at the Inn were professional and polite. I definitely would stay there again. The location is extremely convenient. Short walk to shops and restaurants.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean. The cost was too high for the middle of November. Falmouth is a ghost town right now. If it wasn’t an emergency I wouldn’t have stayed due to the cost.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable but room door was hard to open, it would not unlock easy, the phone did not work and the bathroom door did not close right, it gave trouble latching

I have been staying at Inn on the Square consecutively for the last 6 years on business trips to the Cape. The property including rooms are very dated. This is the second year that I stayed in the cottages building. The room was clean, but very outdated, bathroom could be refreshened, wallpaper missing, the room was very musty, I had to open the windows and run the air unit to refresh the room...

Room was clean, beautiful view, loved the hot tub in the room, and staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

Clean room and loved the soap dispenser verses bar soap. The only reason not given an excellent is that the pillows were too big making it uncomfortable to sleep.

Great location. Units are in good conditions. Only negative was the indoor pool temperature— it was too cold for pleasure swimming.

Room and hotel was great, super clean and great location. Unfortunately, they had workers sanding and repainting the outside of the building that I was in and my car was covered in paint chips and paint dust. I wish they could have put us in another building if they knew work needed to be done.

The room was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed having a kitchenette. It was great to be so close to the beach. Falmouth was beautiful and we enjoyed all the new restaurants downtown.

the location was very good. the staff was excellent. the room was clean there is literally no insulation in this hotel. Every conversation from next door could be heard, and they must have cooked with garlic, because our room smelled awful for quiet a while.

Nice fully stocked kitchen. A short walk to Island Queen ferry. Easy parking. Room was clean. Bed good. No breakfast or workout room. No elevator to second floor.

Our room was large, with well appointed kitchen. Fridge, dishwasher inc. Comfy bed, good hot water. Only downside was flooring in bathroom was lifting. Situated right on the harbour. Walking distance to Island Queen ferry, and restaurants.

Our stay was great, we brought my brother and sister in love with us to visit Martha’s Vineyard. The accommodations and all of the employees were excellent.

We liked absolutely everything! It's a a very cozy and friendly place, where you really feel the Cape Cod relaxed vibe. The breakfast and the access to the barn is just great! The staff were very friendly and the recommendations booklet really feels like it was made with love and purpose. So many great things to do and see nearby - great restaurants too.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at the Red Horse Inn recently; we like to explore different parts of the cape and this was our first time in Falmouth. Absolutely loved it here. The owner was extremely sweet and welcoming. We loved that we were located just minutes from everything: Dunkin, Starbucks, Walgreens, other stores and restaurants, the downtown shopping area, and even the ferry we took one day...

Highly recommend the Red Horse Inn for a stay in Falmouth. Clean, spacious room with friendly staff and nice amenities such as breakfast and beach towels provided. Walking distance to many attractions in Falmouth including Main Street, beach, and island queen ferry!

This place is LOVELY! That's the word we kept saying over and over again while we were there and have continued to say since we returned home. It's cute, it's quaint, it's exactly what you want. Great location! You can walk to the beach in 15 minutes. Close to ferry. Close to restaurants and shops. Clean quiet bright and airy. Complementary coffee and tea in the barn and homemade muffins at breakfast, as well as yogurt granola bagels etc. Beautiful garden sitting area to congregate. Fridge and freezer in every room. We really enjoyed being able to park and walk to everything.

Very spacious rooms and a cozy barn which offers 24×7 coffee. There's also grab n go kind of breakfast from 7am to 10am.

You can’t the location of this place- right across from the Heights beach, restaurant on site, and easy distance to other Falmouth Heights locations (restaurants, etc). The room itself was newly renovated, except for the carpet. We did not have housekeeping service, which was weird. Shower was cold for at least 10 minutes. Be prepared for LOUD drunk individuals when Shipwreck closes. We were awakened...

Arrived a bit early for our stay. John at the front desk was extremely helpful and got us checked in to our room. The room was recently upgraded and was large, clean and very nice. John was also very helpful in finding local spots for food. Great service.

After I made the reservation I read the reviews and was scared that I made a mistake. However, the motel was fine. I did not expect a 4 star hotel for the modest price I paid. I expected a clean, safe motel close to the ocean and it was. I've stayed here several times in several different sized rooms and they've all been wonderful. The staff is very nice and the hotel is located in a very convenient and scenic part of Falmouth. The smell of the ocean adds to the ambience

The hotel was fantastic. We got to our room after the office closed and left before they opened. They left our key in a drop box for us which was very convenient. The room was above the British beer company so we were able to get food and drinks then stumble back to our room without having to drive. Even above a bar our room was very quiet and we slept right through the night without a problem. Great...

My friend and I spontaneously booked a night here. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and kind!! It’s a great little location. The room was also nice and clean. Definitely would go back if I am in the area again!

We stayed the weekend at this charming place a few times. Always a pleasure with owner Virginia and front desk lady Terry. The rooms are just how they are pictured. Your probably going to be gone all day visiting all the cool stuff Cape Cod Massachusetts has to offer then when you get back to your room it feels like your home. Great location at an affordable price! Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. This is the Cape, where buildings are older and this place had that vintage charm. Parking is a little tight, especially with a car seat, but service is fantastic. If you bring your children please bear in mind- walls are thin, you'll need a stopper for the tub, and most likely a power strip for extra outlets.

Oct. 2023 One year ago we stayed for our first time at the Town and Beach Motel. We returned again this year, because although it’s not fancy, we knew we could count on having a clean room, clean bath, comfortable bed, and a good shower, with friendly and accommodating owner host. We were pleased yet again. Also, the location is fabulous.

This is a FAMILY run business. What that means is…you have people who are vested in trying to please you. They talk like REAL people. No, they don’t have a huge ice machine you can fill your cooler. They do have ice for a few cold drinks. We slept in a room with two double beds. This was all we needed. We had plenty of towels; a nice shower; toilet & sink. We were able to watch the Packer game...

Good location in centre of Falmouth, reasonable walking distance from bus station. Coffee and tea available at reception. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Clean.
