We had the best time staying with Courtney at her B&B during the Feb snowstorm. The room had a fireplace to keep us warm and cozy and the breakfasts in the beautiful parlor were amazing. The quiches were perfection and the baked french toast was so good! I can't say enough on how Courtney was such a good host, always making sure we had everything. I would highly recommend staying here.

Just back from a 3 night stay at Somerset. Courtney the newer Inn Keeper more than lives up to the Inns excellent reputation. From the bottle or wine to help commemorate our anniversary to the comfortable room, breakfast and evening beer and wine hour, meeting new friends, it couldn’t be more welcoming. Courtney. Thank you so much Patricia and Joe

We were the only 2 guests staying at the inn on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Despite being the only 2 guests, Courtney went out of her way to ensure we were fed a delicious breakfast (best bacon ever) and that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We invited her to join us for breakfast on Christmas morning, and she did! It was a great opportunity to get to know her more personally. By the time we left, she felt like family. Running an inn has been a dream of Courtney's for many years. She puts her heart and soul into making sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We highly recommend staying here. We definitely will the next time we plan to be in P-town.

The Somerset House Inn is a charming, historic home centrally located on Commercial Street. Innkeeper Courtney and her team do a great job to create a homey, warm environment. The breakfasts are substantial and delicious. Each room has its own character. Our king bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the quality bedding. We look forward to another stay this winter.

Glad we returned! Have stayed here in the past and this stay was just as enjoyable. Courtney is a warm and attentive innkeeper. Accommodating to our needs. Location is excellent and in a quiet area of town on Commercial Street, with easy access to all. Comfortable room with two important features: adequate air conditioning during a very hot, humid week on the Cape, and a hot shower with great water pressure! Daily breakfasts were varied and delicious. Coffee/tea bar available 24/7. Inside and outside seating for relaxation and breakfast. Jerome was also helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed for 10 days in the Oliver room towards the end of June. If you are looking for something with beauty, warmth, character and charm, then this is it (and that includes Courtney!). The building is a lovely, quirky period property, full of art and colour (if you are into sleek modernism, and would find noisy plumbing and creaky floors an issue, this may not be the place for you). The location is perfect, right on the edge of all the action so that you can walk to hundreds of restaurants, shops, bars etc. in minutes, but it feels relatively peaceful. Courtney is a star; she makes you feel so welcome and the atmosphere of the house is very warm and convivial. We heard several guests arranging their bookings for next year as they left.

Courtney and her staff and friends are wonderful hosts ! ! ! They made us feel welcome, like family. The breakfasts are amazing. We stayed in Room 6, on the 3rd floor, which is a bit of a climb, but worth it for the views, gentle breezes and unique space. The wine & beer hour in the evening was an added plus !

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. Courtney the owner is an absolute sweetheart and a wealth of knowledge about what to do in town. The breakfasts were delicious and the house is located directly across the street from the beach and right on the strip so you can easily walk to anything you want to do. We stayed in the Hemingway room and it was great for people watching as well. If you are going to Provincetown this is definately the place to stay

In case you don’t read through this entire review, I want to say upfront that what we loved about Somerset house and was absolutely everything! I’ll give a brief list here and not necessarily in any order: perfect location, fabulous Victorian architecture, well appointed gorgeous bedrooms and guest spaces, 24 hour coffee, tea and water cooler service, delicious homemade American breakfasts, generous wine and beverage happy hour, outdoor space including a lovely deck, two garden sitting areas and fire pit, plush comfy beds, pillows and bedding. Then there are the people. The innkeeper Courtney is simply an amazing person who welcomes you into her life’s dream, Somerset House. She is an outstanding example of a woman-owned successful business. All of her staff reflect her values…the perfect balance of friendly assistance and professionalism. We stayed three nights in the Mary Oliver room on the second floor with a great view of Commercial Street and the harbor…the automatic gas fireplace was a beautiful touch! We loved it and will always stay there when visiting Ptown. Thanks Bill and Dorothy

We absolutely loved our stay at the Somerset House Inn––our favorite place to stay in Provincetown. Courtney is an amazing host––so warm, gracious, and generous. She made such delicious breakfasts for us during our 2-night stay. The room (the Frankenthaler) was extremely comfortable with a lovely view of the bay and a fabulous jacuzzi/tub/shower combination. We love the names of the rooms and the unique character of the B&B. Thank you so much, Somerset House Inn. We can't wait to return!!!
